Morning
I have nothing planned for today, OH is doing some overtime at work so he wont want to do much this afternoon when he comes home but sleep.
So i will make a to do list to keep myself busy:
Take £15 coins to the bank
Pay £10 Credit card bill at the bank
Tidy my room up
Hoover out car & clean inside
Take the dog for a long walk over fields
Transmit barcodes to shopandscan
Write a Dooyoo review
Ebay have a no listing fee day tomorrow so looks like i will be busy listing all my OH PS3 games for him, ive been meaning to list them for weeks now. Its just the whole free postage thing puts me off listing them on Ebay.
Also im going to Surrey tomorrow to pick up a Brand new alloy wheel with new tyre for my car. Its costing me £140 which is a bargin as the tyre costs that alone! I found it for sale on the RS owners club bargin! So now im killing 2 birds with one stone as i need a new tyre and i have kerbed one of my alloys. So i will put the worn tyre on the kerbed wheel and keep that wheel as a spare (as my car doesnt come with a spare wheel only cans of foam!)Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Hey
Done some more extra hours at work today and im now exhuasted!!! We done 30 rooms just the two of us. We got left some tips though, split between the two of us we got £9 each. I know any tips are good but the bar and reception staff got chocolates and around £20 each.
The tips and chocolate were left for all hotel staff but they said the management said we already get money left in the rooms so dont get a share!!!
Not at all fair seeing the Germans said its for all the staff, what they leave in the rooms is a bonus! The waitress' get tipped in the evenings. Plus kitchen staff get surcharge on every meal they send out! GRRR that place.
Im in desperate need of some new footwear! All i have are cheapy trainers that i use for work so are rather grubby. Im going to buy some nice ugg style boots from Next there £30. And ive also got my eye out some boots in Peacocks for £27.
Im going to a car show on sunday and would like to wear the Ugg style boots to it as i know its going to be cold there all day outside. I want nice warm cosy feet! Thats my excuse anyway!Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
I just popped to Next at the retail park and bought my boots. Cost me £20 as i used my last £10 Next voucher. Then i went Boots next door and got a mascara with my advantage card points.
So £20 spend today!Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
£20 for those boots is a good deal so don't feel too guilty!
That is a shame about the tips, hope you get more soon0 -
Hey Maria,
The tips sound unfair, some people can be really out of order, i hope you guys get lots more tips soon, you deserve it.
Well done on your little spend today, i've not seen the Ugg style boots in Next, may have to have a little looksy. I have two pairs of real Uggs, i bought them last year when i had more money than sense, and they are not the greatest, especially for £160 per pair. Still look brand new so won't go buy anymore, although i do want a pair of the cardy ones.
You gotta love Boots points!!
Have fun at the car show chick.

Oops on the spends, I always seem to end up spending more in Asda is very tempting!0

Me too - Asda have so many good offers you can't help yourself. The demin leggins sound like a good deal, may have to have a look for them. One's i saw in Dorothy Perkins were £23, and i was very tempted.
Hope you get paid alright on Monday! The very best things in life ... are free!

1st of October already!!!!
Ekkkkkkkk!!!!!
I must admit i have christmas on my mind already, not sure who to buy presents for this year. Im thinking of stopping buying presents for my brother and his wife....they are 36 years old and have two children....i think i will just buy for the kids from now on.
Next problem is what to buy people i am buying presents for!
Anyway moving on i just found a bargin from Hotdeals AA/AAA battery charger and rechargerable batteries for £5.58 delivered on 7dayshop. Bargin price! As every few weeks i keep having to buy £1 AA batterys for my eyelash curlers so this will save me a little bit recharging instead.
I have a huge £400 credit card bill to pay which im not happy about, its from petrol, dentist bill, liz earle lotions, and a big £51 next spend! Grrr, bad bad me. I must pack in buying from Next!
Then i went over on my phone contract by £30 this month!!! So have £50 mobile phone bill to pay. This £30 was just from texts!! My friends have unlimited texts and are constantly texting me, i dont have unlimited as i choose unlimited Net instead, i may have to change my bolt on to unlimited text if they carry on texting like they do!
I have 3 items of clothing to take back to Asda worth £22 to go back on my credit card. Then my OH owes me £12 from bits i bought for him on my card. So £33 towards the card!
On a better not i ordered a £10 Next voucher from shopandscan which came todayMake £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
