I thought we had found the perfect place to rent an hour ago, £570 PCM all bills included! 1 bed apartment in country estate, FF, use of private swimming pool. It looked like a converted barn. My OH's phoned them straight away but it had gone! :( We wont find another bargin like that again!

Ive still got my eye peeled though! Think im going to get an early night tonight as feel so tired again, but not sure why as work has been ok so far this week.

Thats a shame Maria, that place sounded great. Keep your eyes peeled, as wendz said bargains go quick, thats what i found with cars anyway lol.

People do make you laugh don't they, its like they don't read, and i'm exactly the same, i'd rather not post aboard, too much hassle, and its really not worth it sometimes.

Not good about your OH's brother having swine flu, i hope he gets better soon. A lady at work her daughter has swine flu, she came back home from uni Friday and went straight to the docs, he sent her home with drugs, and by Monday she was back at uni.

Well done on your OH for all the money he's made, that will be great for your deposit hehe!

    Hi all,

I only have 1 extra hour going on next weeks pay as havent needed to do any extra hours for a change! Which in a way is good for me as im still feeling a bit run down atm. but not good for my bannk account!

I collected some more empty cans at work today and popped them round tesco machine, i didnt realise some were made of steel now and not aluminium!! So thats why i didnt get many points the day other as you dont get points for steel cans. Anyway, today i only made 3 points on it! But hey it all helps and im recycling! :)

I called up about a flat that is to let for £550PCM it said studio in the title but 2 bed in the description. So i asked if it was studio or 2 bed and it is 2 bed! Which is very good as 2 bed's in this area are £600 upwards. The extra bonus is its right opposite the hotel where i work, which is also opposite Tesco, a 3min walk from the maternity hospital, and a 10 min walk to town!
I told her about the CCJ and she said we will need a garantuor which will cost £50 fee, then our two credit check fee's would be £175, then one and a half months rent upfront. And the rent on the day we move in. Plus VAT on top of all the fee's. So in total without VAT £1550 is how much we need to move into that flat!

It is expensive moving into a flat isn't it, everything adds up. Sounds good though 2 beds for that much. Hope you find somewhere that is good for you

Well done on the empty cans, the points will soon add you. Do you know if you can get points on petrol? i tried a couple of weeks ago, i actually went out my way to fill up at Tesco, but when i went to hand over my clubcard he said you cannot earn points on petrol however, i saw the other day a Tesco advert about collecting points on petrol - so i was a little confused! Wondered if you knew chick?

The flat sounds like a good deal, and its close by for everything, is it furnished?

    Afternoon,

Hayley- Lilmiss is right you have always been able to earn points on petrol! What a cheek! Did you keep the petrol receipt?? If so it will say 'you could of earned X amount of points if you had a clubcard'. All you do is take it to customer services and they will put the points on for you.:)

Another busy day at work and another 2 hours extra worked. ;) Although no cans today!:o And got a £1.02 tip!:rotfl:

My mum gave me two Tombola bingo sheets from the TV mags so i will have a go with them later on on mine and OH's accounts.

An Ebay seller has got in contact to say there tesco extra points receipt hasnt come yet! It expires sunday so she needs it to come by 2moz. I sent it first thing monday morning 1st class. But not recorded! Why oh why didnt i do that! So i suppose im going to have to give her a refund this weekend if it doesnt turn up 2morrow.

Your joking girls, i'm not happy now. I cannot believe the guy told me i couldn't get points when i could. It was a Tesco Express petrol station if that makes any difference? I have been keeping all my receipts for petrol, all 3, (i know i'm sad, but its my first car so wanted to keep a track on how much i spend lol) but i accidently chucked the Tesco one away, damn! I might try and fill up there again tomorrow - see what they say. Thanks Dawn & Maria!

Well done on the extra hours, it all adds up.

That sucks about the ebay item, i hope they receive it tomorrow. Do you think they could just be saying they haven't received it but actually have? guess there's no way to check?

Good luck for the Tombola bingo later - hope you win.
