Hi all,
Im feeling alot better today on the work front, we had a mini meeting today and was told they still will not employ anymore staff to cover the 3 that left. But they have made changes, sheets will now only be changed every 2 or 3 days and not at all i the budget rooms. Plus no extras like tea, coffee biscuits, soap etc in the budget rooms. Which will help us out, so we wont have to sturggle making so many beds and filling up all the extras.
They havent done this to help us though, boss said there doing it to cut there costs as it costs them £1.50 to wash the sheets per bed.
Anyway, my qype £50 vrigin voucher came today! I havent decided whether to sell it on ebay as they go for about £47 or to keep it for my OH's birthday in May, and use it on an experince day. As i know he wants to do 4x4 off roading.:D
Also got my bingoport £5 Amazon voucher. So all vouchers added to my total in sig. Im not doing very well with the surveys atm, i get bored of them sometimes and only do the quick ones. Pin*cone seemed to have stopped sending me there surveys now they have people taking them for £3 instead of the £4 i get.
I got my pay slip today and for the extra 7 1/2 hours i did i made an extra £32 after tax.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -

Ive also just done a drugs survey that is in the freebie's section for a free £5 Amazon voucher, but you have to be the first 500 to complete the survey so not sure if i will get one or not. Ive also done it for my OH too.;)

Right im going to make some changes starting this weekend!
Last night I was watching 10 years younger…i love that programme!:D
Anyway, I was watching it thinking god that’s me! Plain, pale, dark circles, rubbish teeth and boring looking, all because I wont spend my money on looking good because im trying to save for a house. I haven’t had my haircut for 15 months…I cut & dye it myself. I don’t have any new up to date clothes; my clothes are all quite old. Any new clothes I have brought are simple plain £3 tops from supermarkets or ebay. I live in trainers, as I don’t have any up to date boots/shoes. I hardly wear any make up apart from the basics. My undies are looking a little grey and used! The list could go on and on!
So I have decided to make an effort with the way I look again not only for me and my confidence but for my OH too (this is making me sound like a right minger! I’m not honest! I’m just very plain looking; I blend in if you get me). Im only 25 and see all my friends on facebook looking gorgeous and glam, and im all plain and boring. Although there probably in a lot of debt to keep up there looks!
So im planning on buying hair treatments, facial treatments, make up, bags, shoes, belts, jewellery, clothes, underwear, etc. BUT I still want to fill my ISA by the end of the tax year. So my idea is to use my baby fund vouchers from last year to buy a lot of it! As I can save up vouchers again in no time. I have £315 worth of vouchers I was thinking:
£100 Boots – make up/face creams/vitamins etc
£75 Amazon – hair treatments/make up/shoes etc
£40 Debenhams – clothes/undies
£20 Argos – tongs
£80 Tesco – clothes/undies/shoes/belts etc
Then after ive filled up the ISA I will save up about £200 for a new wardrobe of clothes. As im probably not going on holiday again this year I need to treat myself to something.
Then who knows I may feel confident enough to actually get a new job or start a college course of something! Well that’s my plan anyway! Sorry for the long chat!:pMake £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
