  • That's true about Pureprofile - I had £10 in for ages as I just used to do the surveys that they emailed. Now I log in daily to see if there's anything & I managed to reach payment fairly quickly and I have another £8 in there.

  • When you log in, at the top left of the screen there's a red tab that says 'nextbutton'. Click it and if there's any surveys for you they'll show up when you click x

    Afternoon,

Well im very proud of my OH today, we went to look at a Peugeot 307 2.0 TDi 5 door. We found it on ebay, it was right behind where i live and the bloke was a trader. So we had a look round it and yes very nice indeed 2002 plate same as OH's current car good mileage, excellent condition. It was up for £3400. OH said to the bloke what will you give me for mine? The bloke said straight swap! So very happily OH bit his hand off! As they only go for £3500 privately anyway.
It will be sad to see the ST go as we both love it but the saving's this new car is going to bring us are huge!

    New car's tax £115 a year Old cars tax £310 in 2009.
New cars diesel 45 MPG Old cars petrol 30MPG
New cars insurance group 9 Old cars group 15

And of course new car has 5 doors for the future!;) Bless OH though as the whole 7 years ive been with him his always had a sporty show off car. Hence the debt he got himself into. Its good to see his very serious about our futrure.

Right im off to get him some insurance quotes as picking it up 2moz once we've got him insured.

OMG! I just got a quote for OH's new car

    £385 then £70 CB from quidco = £315!!! Old car was £1350!!
    So a saving of = £1035!!!!!

That is fab!!! I cant wait to see how much he saves on fuel to work. Normally his fuel bill is just over £200 a month!

    Afternoon,

Im full to cold today, its going round at work so only amatter of time before i caught it! :(

Anyway on the good side wages went in today and ive just transferred over the usual £100 into my ISA new total: £1700. :o

Im just waiting for my mum to find her set of digital scales so i can weigh a few car parts im going to sell. As there quite heavy i need couriers to pick them up so i need the weights of then first before i list them for sale.
I thought as OH has sold his car for our future i should really sacrifice somethings i love too. So its time for my optional extra's to come off my car and put the standard plain ones back on.

I have morette headlights worth £200 at least.
SP grill worth £50 at least as i never fitted it!
    SP bonnet vent grill £40
    Water pump £35
    Rear lights £10
    More rear lights £15

So im hoping i should get around £350 for the lot. Good job i kept all the old plain parts.

Total spend: £12.73. No so bad i suppose but i would prefer to spend £0.
