Hi peeps,
I got a great deal for my mum today on broadband. Before i said we was going to get 02 now there in our area for £10.99 a month (as i cancelling my 02 mobile contract in feb) And i was thinking about getting a laptop to do free courses on as it would be wireless. I phoned up Orange to get the MAC mode and they offered us a great deal to keep us free for the next 6 months then £9.50 after! And there going to throw in a free wireless box too so we can finally go wireless! We have been paying £18.99 a month! Mum is very happy now as she didnt want to change from Orange.

Good luck with the xmas shopping - at least if you do it/start it now, you won't have to face the horrendous crowds come December!0

Well bit of a wasted journey all the way to Cambridge, the traffic jams there were awful!!!! Ive never seen a town so full of cyclists and sooo many students either!
It took about an hour to get through the city centre traffic. Then we finally found a car park that cost £3.20 for 2 hours! We went into a shopping centre there but it was tiny and not many shops at all. I dont think we were in the right part of town! So instead we're going shopping 2moz in town!
But i did buy a pack of xmas cards from poundland £1, and a small pressie for mum £5.99.
Car park £3.20!
Present £6
Cards £1
Burger king! £5
Total spend: £15.20
Bless OH he only wanted to go there to make a change from always going to town or Lakeside.
And in the end we decided not to go to the fireworks coz that would have cost another £12. So watched Hot Fuzz on DVD instead.:rolleyes:Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -

Mariagti, I have quickly read your thread and am impressed!
Giving the nappies etc as presents is an excellent idea. MY DS got so much stuff when he was born, mainly clothes, it will be nice for them to get a useable practical present. I am currently saving up nappies too for a friend who is due at christmas, its her first and I know they will appreciate the nappies.0 -
YB- The rain didnt reach here until about 9.30pm last night so just missed the displays as they all started at 8pm. Sorry, the rain ruined your fireworks though
Hope it didnt cost you too much.
Jen- Lol, how cool you live by that town! Is it really that quite there?!Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
