I did ask OH to pick me up at 11am but he was a lazybones and slept in!:rotfl:  Im hoping to see some stuff i can buy for cheap and sell on ebay......when i was off work i was watching that programme where they buy from Essex car boots and sell for profit. Although they know what there looking for!

Yeah the mascara is a bargin for £3.40....the magazine went straight in the recyling bin...not my kind of mag!
perhaps you could recycle it to your local doctors surgery next time? Well done on getting debt free though. I was wondering why you didn't get paid when you were sick. Have you not been at the job long enough to get statutory sick pay?
If you are doing chambermaiding be aware that there may be health and safety issues with doing this job once you are pregnant, so just be aware that you may have to stop work earlier than you would like to. It would be worth checking out what the company policies are about this.

Perhaps next time the mags could go to the doctors surgery rather than the bin?
Why do you not get statutory sick pay when you are sick, do you not have a contract?
Please check the health and safety issues around the chambermaiding when pregnant, the company you work for should have policies in place for managing your pregnancy. Would be worth checking them out before hand.
Don't forget that if you buy to sell on ebay, then it is taxable and you need to look at if it is then worth you doing it. I guess the odd bit would go unnoticed but not if you were doing it alot.
Have a good day

Hi Chev
I hadnt thought about giving mags to doctors/dentist. Good idea, im all for re-using.
I dont get statutory sick pay unless i have been off 4 days! It's the same for everyone at my work its in the contract. We have to clock in and out not sure if thats why?? It really sucks.
I have read Maternity rules and if your job is too physical to do they have to give you a more suitable job in a different department of the work place or suspend on full pay.
EDIT: found a link here.
Risk assessment
When you tell your employer that you are pregnant your employer should review their risk assessment for your specific work and identify any changes that are necessary to protect you and your unborn baby's health. Your employer should involve you in the process and continue to review the assessment as your pregnancy progresses to see if any adjustments are necessary.
These risks might be caused by:- lifting or carrying heavy loads
- standing or sitting for long periods
- exposure to toxic substances
- long working hours
Your employer must then either remove the risk or remove you from being exposed to it (for example, by offering you suitable alternative work). If neither of these is possible, your employer should suspend you from work on full pay.
And i wont be buying to sell on ebay after all as the Boot sale i went to today wasnt very good at all. I suppose you dont find good things at them anymore as everyone Ebay's there odds and ends now.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -

Morning,
Apart from walking the dog i think im going to stay in the house all day. as i still dont feel 100% better. And i need to be well as i cant afford to take anymore time off work when im trying to save.
So need to make use of the PC while my parents are away and im stuck in the house. I think i might do some more bingo sites for my OH see if i can win any more money for him and get him some more cashback. Ive already done about 60 comps this morning too. And my ebay items finally all have bids on them. Yay!
Oh i had a spend yesterday £1.50;) 50p to get into the boot sale (waste of money) and £1 on a cute piggybank from a charity shop.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
