Does the deal from Tiscali include line rental?0

yes it is broadband plus line rental payable to tiscali not bt0

You pay line rental WHATEVER happens mad'.
So when you switch to ANY supplier the line rental will be included (You cant use a BT phone line connection broadband without it)
If you absolutely do NOT want the line rental the only other valid option is Virgin Cable (Meaning theyd need to drill into your house etc!):idea:0 -

I'm with Tiscali and I don't pay line rental.
I upgraded to a slightly different package with them (after a bit of a haggle) and now I'm paying around £18/month for unlimited, up-to-8mbs broadband, plus any calls to non-01/02/03 numbers.
Can remember what the package is, but they wanted to charge me £30 to upgrade so I threatened to leave and they did the upgrade for free.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:

It might SEEM like you dont pay line rental. They may even have TOLD you that you dont pay line rental (BS if they did).
EVERYONE who uses a phone line pays line rental to BT in some form or other. It could even be that the prices are calculated over the year to pay it but rest assured you DO pay it. If you didnt, BT would have cut the signal!:idea:0 -
According to my contract and my bills so far
, I pay £17-99/month for broadband, calls as described above, and aero, zilch for line rental.
Tiscali Line Rental 01/Sep/08-30/Sep/08 - £ 0.00
1571 Voicemail monthly fee 01/Sep/08-30/Sep/08 - £ 0.41
Always Withhold Number monthly fee 01/Sep/08-30/Sep/08 - £ 0.00
Broadband 01/Sep/08-30/Sep/08 - £ 17.01:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:

Ask BT if your paying line rental. if you WERNT you wouldnt be ON broadband.
I cant rememeber what line rental is but I believe its £11.50. which means your broadband is actually £6.49
(Or you pay BT direct in which case your getting ripped off):idea:0 -

I suggest that you learn about Local Loop Unbundling before making statements like that!
