And ?
I`ll read anyones views on here , if they are passionate about them , even better
I know what a wind up merchant you are, so sadly I can't say the same about your posts, but for the record, from this site's terms & conditions:9.2 You may not use the chat forums or any of our comms systems for any illegal purpose and in particular you will not:...
9.2.10 post the same note more than once or “spam”; or"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -

I have been on this Board for several years and I have yet to see an employee of a Utility company 'push' their product.
If for example, any BG employee, praised BG's standard tariff, they would be shot down in flames. There are enough knowledgeable people to do just that!
If you visit the Financial sections of MSE there are countless employees of financial institutions who offer extremely valuble advice, yet don't declare which organisation they work for.
It is the validity of the points made that is important, not who is making them.
Fortunately you neither decide the policy of posting on MSE or are a Board moderator.
Why not make representation to Martin and get him to change the rules of his website to conform to your ideals or indeed start your own 'rant website.0 -
Cardew, my suspicions were aroused when you started that recent thread banging on about BGs 2011 fix (you know, the one BG are co-incidentally pushing massively). I was pleased when it didn't get massive viewing figures, tbh. This is the internet, people can be who they want to be, can't they? I don't know for a fact that you don't work for BG, I have to take your word for it. I do note you are a definite fan of the company and make a mental note to read your posts with that thought in mind.Call me Carmine....

This stupid post is in line with most of your posts.
Why don't you contribute something positive to MSE, instead of relentless negativity.0 -
Troll: A person who posts to a forum, newsgroup, etc., in a way intended to anger other posters and to cause drama, or otherwise disrupt the group's intended purpose.
:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

shall we start a petition, to force (or at least embarrass) the gas co's into dropping prices?
getting (free/reduced) loft insulation when living in a block of flats is not an option for me!Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..

Most of my posts are either positive or informative, Cardew (above are the 108 ones I've been thanked for, my %tage thanked to actual posts being far greater than yours, my friend) Which sort of makes your post rather stupid (you introduced the name-calling, btw, so don't try and claim the moral ground like you usually do). You have several times accused me of being mentally challenged. Exactly how could that be said to be contributing positively?
I see your coffee-loving 'sidekick' has been roused into action again. A truly scary double act. Not. :rotfl:Call me Carmine....
