Actually being serious for a moment, has anyone seen anything remotely humourous written by !!!!!!? I don't mean unintentional humour because then most of his posts would qualify. I have to say I have never seen nary a one.

Does this mean that !!!!!! is a terminator, a cyborg sent back from the future to warn us all about the imploding house price crash that will cause Judgement Day and destroy humanity!

Sorry, but it's downright weird not to have any sense of humour at all. I'm not expecting Charlie Caroli but even a hint of a joke once in a while would be more normal. I even think I may have seen some of your posts that made me smile.

I like the variety of personalities on here.....that's what keeps me reading.

Mind you, this form of interraction tends to bring out the Hair Shirt in me. People who have known me less than 15 years don't know that a whole chunk of my life was accompanied by that music from the old Hovis adverts.

It's exhausting being so zippy, zany and upbeat all day :-)

I find a tad amusing the first 3 posts are posts of a 'im 100% clean' nature :P. I find it a tad ironic too :P based on the content of the first post.

Still, gave me a smile so nevermind . When people have such conflicting views and interests (money and personal wealth being a major component here) then obviously people will take things too personally sometimes.
The House Price discussion board is irrelevant... houses will crash or dare i say it rise... without it.. its just a place that contains the constant struggle of bear vs bull or perhaps Im wrong?

TBH, I think you're being a little sensitive. I think I've stood up for you in the past. It might be that it was one of my alter egos of course (haha).

My feeling FWIW is that this board will die a death if people keep just slagging each other off all the time. It gets boring and is very offputting to newbies.

And i don't want it to die ...for purely selfish reasons.... it's part of my down time.

Mind you, I blagged myself on a freebie seminar some months back titled, , I think..'How to market your business on-line via social networking' which was targeted at b+b's and hotels and anyone in the tourist industry ....I got a place as my shop is no longer a shop for local people that happens to be interesting to visitors, but part of a real life Theme Park....a kind of museum shop. There was a free lunch..I had a free day...so went along.

The very nice (and very uber successful) bloke taking it runs a company that tries to get you to the top of google etc (and is cleaning up BTW...Crunch? What crunch.).

One of the things discussed was forums and how they develop.
At the time, a lot of what was discussed just passed over my head...because 'My forum' (this one) didn't have any of the issues he raised.

Now it does.

And this is the point that I could do with an emoticon or 2....but they are broken...bit like parts of the forum....but they will mend.....just takes some repairing, that's all.
