Email address - orders@identitydirect.co.uk for those who want / need it.
I telephoned this morning and although I had ordered 4 books only one was showing on my email confirmation and that is the only order they had. I've cancelled and if I want to re order I will do. I couldn't argue that I wanted the books for 1p because they didn't have an order for more than one.
I do have a snap shot of the page if anyone needs it and it doesn't say anything about 1 per order( obviously an error on someone's part).
They can cancel your order or email/phone to see if you still want them at the new price. I don't think they can send them out and charge you more than was ordered/invoiced. A little bit like the shops if you see an item at a price they don't have to sell it to you at that price, but once it's bought and paid for you have every right to ask them to refund you any over charge.
I must admit though, life's too short to be losing an sleep over this, these type of errors are good if you get it but if you didn't then I think most of us knew we were trying our luck and something wasn't quite right. Just wait to the next one to come alongLook after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0 -
I ordered 3 last night and there was absolutely no mention of only the first book being 1p and any others £8.99.c
I received an e-mail confirmation straight away for 3p for the books and £1.99 postage. I will be very cross if they take any more money than that  . I will cancel the whole order if they do.

and so they will lose out on 1p of sales hardly going to upset them better to cancel just 2 and they will have to honour the other and even at £2 is a bargainMortgage overpayments 2008 (started August) £3000 -
I ordered one for each of my 4 boys late last night
I just phoned and spoke to a helpful and polite man who confirmed he has cancelled my order (phew)
Here is the phone number should you wish to cancel asap

You are right that they aren't going to be too upset over loosing 1p of Sales, but they aren't doing much for their reputation are they? I for one wouldn't buy anything ever again from them. The Staff are going to be quite busy too, taking phone calls from unhappy Customers and refunding money.

Do you think they will just cancel all orders in the end? I ordered 2 books and whilst I would rather have a bargain, I don't mind paying £8.99 for the second book as it still makes them a reasonable price - I will be disappointed though if I don't receive anything because they cancel the orders.0

I just phoned and was advised that it is ten POUNDS ninety five for any additional books.
Im quite happy about paying that price for two of these books but I'm not happy at the sneaky way they've updated the site.
I will have a chuckle if the screengrab on the google cache search is prior to it being updated.Compeititon Wins: Loads of toot that has gone on ebay
Quidco since March : £540 validated (£480 recieved)
Money saved for mortgage overpayments £2000)..Actually scrub that we're building an extension.0 -
Has anbody who emailed to cancel their order had a reply still waiting to hear from them, i hate talking on the phone, will have to keep a check on my bank account hopefully they will cancel my order as you cannot send these books back.0

I'm not paying £10.95 for the book so im going to cancel tomorrow. I guess they'll be closed now??
There is a mention on HUKD about the site maybe not being secure for credit card details0
