open office Q need help please

    mags dont go anywhere for the next 20mins or so, then i can confirm if the software or your system causing the problems.

    4hrs that all!!! Ive been here since 9am lol. With a 3hr break messing with my uncles PC.

    Grrrrr nope thats 5th download and giving up now just keep geting same mesage ie...this is corupt
    shadow are you on vista ? dont know if thats anything to do with it although it said that it was compatable with vist !!!
    i will hang around to see if you manage it shadow

    Thanks TS but i cant ask for it in anything because as soon as i open it , it tells me its corrupt

    ok bad news is my d/load went in no problems!!!

    Good news is well there isnt any!!!! Sorry.

    It did update the Java console though, so my next question is is your Java files upto date? think they are version 6.4?

    If not you can check that your download is not corrupt by using the checksum (which checks the integrity of downloaded files).

    Instructions for doing it for Open office are here

    Scroll down and use the instructions on how to do a md5checksum under windows.

    No no thats good news lol iam just jealous :T ....now this java thing ? i looked in my programmes and cannot see it anywhere !! i know the icon looks like a wee cuppa tea because i have seen it before but its no where to be seen now lol
    So where can i get it ? plz ? thanks x
