  • Melvis - I think someone asked this question a few weeks ago and someone said it was fine as long as everything was in there - I THINK.

I sent a load of stuff back - again - as I didn't have all the money to pay so needed to top up with returns and have found a brown/black mascara that was meant to be in the package!! I have e-mailed them to let them know but do I fill out another returns form? And put it online again?? Also my returns book is full now - do we order them online? x

I'm not sure about filling in another returns form, I would imagine so. But yes, you can order new returns book, the code is in HT with the stationary bits. Noticed on my invoice online today that they are charging me again for something "that hasn't been returned", when I know it has as it was in a box with other stuff which they have processed fine, so had to ring up again to give them the barcode. I wonder who sorts out the returns!!
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

no mention of the bluetooth headset unless it comes with the phone

bluetooth headset is only for customers, they don't get the mobile phone, they get the headset and 2 sim cards only.

Can any other new rep clear up what you get when you meet your level 1 or level 2 targets when you submit on line. I hit level 2 targets for both my first and second campaign and got nothing. Then with my 3 rd order I have on my invoice hello tomorrow organiser and skincare sample collection. I am not supposed to get this until my fourth campaign so they have missed out what I should have gotten in camp 2. Wouldn't mind but the organiser was missing. What has anyone else received.
I have never met a calorie yet I didn't like!!

this is what it says to us Sales Leaders

    Smart Start changes

Smart Start has been such a success that we’ve exhausted stocks of the Hello Tomorrow Organiser award (stage 2). It will be replaced by equally appealing awards as shown below.

    Campaign 16: red pocket organiser

    Campaign 17: pink filofax

Campaign 18 onwards: Hello Tomorrow branded file and pens

All stage 2 achievers will continue to receive the skincare sample selection.

Thanks aureole . What should I have gotten in camp 2 then. Hello tomorrow organiser shouldn't have been until camp 4. I got a pink filofax which is absolutely no use as it was for 2009!!!!

  • I got the pink filofax too instead of the organiser (haven't even bothered opening it) - was sooooo disappointed. Thought the organiser would actually be useful ie to keep all our 'sorry I missed you' etc. notes flat. Hadn't realised that the filofax was for 2009 - WHAT AN INSULT! Come on Avon; look after your reps instead of (always/sometimes) ripping us off.....:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Have only actually done 4 orders so far but not one single order has been without a problem - either goods missing/empty boxes, tops come off goods so I had to clean a lot of products up before they were deliverable, or damaged goods/boxes just because they are obviously packed (dropped!) by machine. Customer Services for us 'plebs' is also equally crap - either they can't help or send you the wrong goods......

And don't even get me onto the totally useless brochure bags that they flog us!

Really wonder sometimes why I'm doing this......
Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon ;))
  • thanks for the support everyone. i went to collect books in today (in the rain and wind) including the angry womans house. i had all these visions of her laughing and telling me to get stuffed but it was actually left out when i got there. her daughters car was in so i rang the doorbell so i could apoligize face to face and just explain that i tried my best and didnt do it on purpose but she didnt answer the door so...i tried. life goes on. just a shame that it was her first order and i 'let her down' but to be fair the amounts of times she 'forgot' to leave the book out etc i think its karma at the end of the day lol

i was gonna say before about the pink filofaxes how ive just done my first 6 campaigns and was gutted that they had changed it for a better offer and i would have much rather had the new things than 3 bags and an organizer cause if its the filofax from the brochure its cute and alot more useful than the 'organizer'. HOWEVER after reading the above comments its actually laughable that its pretty much already out of date! such a cheek!

now im quite happy with my organizer...or should i say 2 bits of fabric covered cardboard with a pretend calculator and a poundland notepad (oh and a zip!) lol

All I can say ladies is Avon is not perfect, but then I have never worked for a business that was.

Although I do understand how frustrating it is when you get a box delivered and the items have spilled/leaked over other items. Or items are missing, or the box is broken open accidentally, etc.

Before I became a Sales Leader, I did all my enquiries, replacements, etc online via the contact us email box. Never, ever called the call centre to speak to anyone.

Maybe if it is easier you could do the same? The emails go to Corby and you get a reply within 24 hours. I even had one call me back the other day to discuss my enquiry, but unfortunately I missed the call, and they sent me a folllow up email immediately.
  • I got the Filofax too which I was really happy with (more so than I would have been with the organiser tbh) until I realised it was for 2009, so if I want to use it past the end of the year I have to buy a refill which aren't cheap!

If I have any probs I also email and so far I have been very happy with the service
