ooh silver you have to tell us more now!! lol
Ive got a few new little streets, my asm said dont go to number so and so cos shes a rep. So im gonna go knock on her door and ask if she does her street cos i dont want to waste my time posting books thro if she already sells to her neighbours.

My sister in law is really peeing me off with her avon. cos im making money going door to door shes decided to do it and has chosen her own streets and not letting the asm know. she says her friend lives on those streets and theres no avon lady so whats it matter. She really makes me angry. I hope there is an avon lady there and she gets a gobfull off her for stepping into her patch!! Obviously not nice for any avon lady who does already do that area and is gonna get my sister in law on her patch!! It does irritate me!

    Hey all,

I know that it's a little early to ask about Christmas.............but.................
I'm on C16 now, order goes in on Tuesday (21st)and delivery the following monday (27th). I know that C18 is going to be my Christmas Campaign but does anyone do anything special for their regulars? was thinking about a present or something? or just a discount? What type of note should i put with it. Was thinking something like "Thank you for being a dedicated customer. Spend over £10 and receive a 10% discount."

    xx

    P.S I love Avon :-)

I do 'spend £25 and get a free gift' every campaign to stave off my little invader. For Xmas I'm going to do a raffle ticket for every £5 spend in 17 and 18, with one big prize and lots of little ones. Plus I'm going to make Xmas cards with vouchers to use in the first few campaigns if that makes sense.

Ann Summers... well, the extra clause is that 'parties will be confined to inside the venue' after a particularly hair-raising student party where a girl somehow ended up in an air-hostess outfit handcuffed round a lamppost to an anatomically-optimistic inflatable man doll who was, as I recall, named 'mustafa s h a g'. There were a few complaints about that one...

Best Avon games I've come up with are matching perfume testers (covered so you can't see what they are) to the flowery descriptions of them from the book, and the lipstick game, where one person who is blindfolded has to apply lipstic to the second person by following the shouted instructions from a third person. I'll think of more in the end... anyone else got any?

I didn't have any to do yesterday and weather was fine surprise surprise its raining today.

It's sods law, isn't it?! I've not got to collect, but I've got a big new territory to cover, as well as my existing, so I'm taking out 120 books this afternoon. Oh, joy. But I'd still rather do it than not. I don't know how successful this new area will be - it's a bit to posh for Avon - but at least I get to feel smug that the space invader isn't succeeding in stealing my customers, she's making them rally round me, and I got more area to boot. :rotfl: Okay, so I'd still rather she'd go away, but at least this way I don't feel like she's winning.

Wondering whether to take my little one with me to do my street though? She will have to alot of the time anyway due to her dads work hours and i find im more confident with her with me anyway for some reason.... plus the buggy basket would come in very useful as dont know how i'll carry 26 C17 booklets otherwise as i have a bad back on top of everything else!! :o :rotfl:

Hi Johanne. I take my little one, who is a little bigger (26 months) with me a lot of the time - lke you say, the buggy comes in handy. Also, if you decide to door knock, never underestimate the "ahhhh factor" that having a cute little one with you achieves - worked wonders for me, with all the little old ladies buying for their kids and grandkids!

    Good luck hun!
