Am just wondering how the vouchers that are part of the free gift in C17 are redeemed? I know they can only be used in C2, but how?0

Message on Avon website - quote:
Campaign 17 Make-Up Voucher
When your customers spend £10 or more on make up from pages 9-49 in Campaign 17 they can order a FREE Supershock Limited Edition Mascara and will get a £5 off make-up voucher that can be redeemed against selected Avon Colour products in Campaign 2 2010.
Whether 'Colour' means 'Colourtrend' have no idea. More to the point, will we be credited with £5 or £3.70 (i.e. usual nett cost to us I believe)?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Hi,
I am totally new to this. Have just signed up to be an Avon rep, and am now slightly panicking as I really don't want to disapoint anyone.
Any hints or tips would be fantastic, as I said before I have never done anything like this.
Really glad I found this forum - Hoping that with everyone's support I may be able to give this a go.
Thanks,

Yep, 470 pages (15-20 posts per page) that should keep you busy for a while!
Good luck - personally, am really enjoying it but sometimes you do have to take the good with the bad.....Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Hi everyone,
Not posted for a while, but still a busy bee where Avon is concerned!
How is everyone getting along selling Absynthe? I have had an order for one of the ladies fragrance and one of the mens, so I don't think I'm going to meet my gold ipod target of 9 bottles LOL.
TBH the more expensive fragrances don't sell well in my territory. I don't do too badly with the cheaper ones tho'.
Have to delivery 30 C17s tomorrow before heading off to work about 10ish. I'm helping my sis out at her new cafe - normally only work on Mondays but she's got staff off sick so needs a hand tomorrow. Couldn't get out of the house to deliver the books today as had 6 children here at one point (and only half of them mine ).
Have offered a free gift with a £20+ spend this campaign which has worked well so far, but then again it is the run up to Christmas. I ordered 10 of the carnival shower gels at £1 each, but also have some 1L bottles of bubble bath for those ordering big (two ladies have £50+ orders so will receive these instead).
Good luck with your sales everyone.

Not had any orders yet for Absynthe - had two for the Reese Witherspoon fragrance (although still haven't smelled it myself and heard it's not everyone's cup of tea). My customers tend to stick to the cheap and cheerful and take advantage of offers.
So far I have resisted all the Money Makers - even had quite a 'pushy' phone call yesterday from a Scottish lady (whom I could hardly understand) trying to send me some of the new eye stuff..... quote: "Have you seen your latest HT?" "Err, yes" "I'll send you 5" "Err, no thanks" "Well, 3 then" "Err, no - really don't want to go down that route (as yet)". Today have then received two emails about 'forward ordering in campaign 4'. Am guessing Avon's year-end is somewhere near and there's some 'creative accounting' going on? (Or maybe am just a tad tooooo suspicious? :rotfl:)Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

You can ask them to take you off their list for phone calls - I haven't had one since I did that'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

Thanks, Elliebee, didn't know but at the mo will let them still 'bother' me if they wish. Could prove helpful, I guess. I nearly asked her why the 2010 planners were quoted as 10 for £1 but then charged at 5 for £1!:rotfl:Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon
