  • Hi does anyone know the e-mail address to complain about missing items. I keep having to call the call centre and its costing a fortune. Particularly annoying when its Avon's fault I'm having to call in the first place!!

    Thanks
Leo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T
  • There isn't an e-maill address that I have come across, but if you go to contact us on the website you can e-mail them from there. They do reply back in a day or 2 x

More tips which may be useful for ‘newbies’

Save supermarket carrier bags to use when delivering your orders – put each paper bag into a carrier bag together with the new book. It makes it easier to handle (no more juggling lots of flimsy paper bags!) and keeps everything contained and dry. Use a waterproof marker to write the customer’s name, door no. and amount due on the outside of the bag.

When doing returns, check all available invoices for the item you are returning. There’s no point in returning the one that cost £3 if it cost £6 on another invoice!

Put a slip in with your books for the customer to keep if they are ordering. Something like ‘your order will be delivered Oct 1st – Oct 3rd. The amount due is £……………..’ That way, they have no excuse for not having the money ready  :rotfl:

It keeps being said, but can’t stress enough, check the prices in your previous brochure – it may be a lot cheaper or have a ‘freebie’ (which you can then keep for yourself or for ‘mystery gifts’ or prizes)

Put all your orders for the campaign into a presenter book. It makes it easier to flick through the orders when you come to pack them.

When packing orders, start with the smallest or most obvious and work through to the larger orders. That way, you have less to sort through when you get to the complicated ones!

I may think of more, but hope these help meantime.
    Great tips thanks!
  • Funkyfish - Once you have collected all the money in, check your invoice and it will tell you how much to pay Avon. The left over money you have collected is your commission. HTH

Quick question - I need to order a Light and Shade Pave ring from C15 however in a mad fit of tiding up (keep having them think its to do with the pregnancy lol) I've chucked all mine out. Can someone look up the product code for me. Need it in a medium size.

    Thanks guys xx

when you deliver the orders and collect the money from your customers you then have to pay your avon bill. Avon will request that you pay 20% less, so around £63 will go to them and the rest in your pocket.

    Hope this makes sense.
    C14 £129, C15 £126 , C16 £442:T, C17 £290, C18 £215, C1 £120:confused:

I think that's just answered the question I was about to ask regarding paying for the order - so you don't have to pay until you have collected the money from your customers?

Hi Amber Sunshine, You have 10 days to pay Avon. However as long as you pay at least a day before your due to place your next order its ok. They wont release any further orders until you are up to date moneywise.
