Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

Very disapointed with the Avon book bags, they are nothing like the picture, they are just a clar bag with Avon logo on them, its really difficult to get a book in and out , complete waste of time !

If anyone want me to take a pic of one let me know and i will upload it

Hi all!
Im new to Avon have just done my first campain... C16 and have been so ill havent actually done any of my roads and just gave books to friends and family I saw and still made it over the 20% threashold! Very pleased! Im now looking forward to my C17 books arriving tomorrow and going mad canvassing for the next 3 weeks with both C16 and C17 and hoping to make a killing.... wishfull thinking I know!
Im also going to head to the GPs all local hairdressers and even the local chinese..... they dont do delivery and there is always people waiting about in there!
I saw earlier... like years ago on one of these threads that there were zones and people in the lower zones had no chance of getting sale/clearence stuff ect.... I was just wondering if there is anybody about who could tell me my zone?

well done! word of warning though...not to burst your bubble but dont get too excited about the samples lol. i literally got about 15 small sachets :rolleyes: and i had really hyped myself up thinking there were LOADS.

STILL its free eh so not complaining. better than nothing x

the organiser is pants too! really poor quality note paper and a naff little calculator!! again, can't complain as it's free but really... would have thought a company like avon could do better!!

I've got myself in a bit of a state!!! I got a phone call from a customer who said she didn't leave her book out yesterday, I explained I didn't get round to everyone yesterday (long story) and I would be round tonight. So I've spent most of the evening putting cats together for the last half of my round and delivering them. Didn't realise it would take this long so went and done one road where I thought the customer was, collected the cats and thought I will collect the rest Sat - working until 11pm tomorrow so can't go then. So I get home and if it is the woman who rang then she hasn't placed an order, which is weird cos normally they ring you to say that if they had an order. So now I am panicking as I am worried I have let someone down, and I still need to put my tea on and sort the house out. Avon really does take over my life sometimes and I let the house go to pot - washing been drying for days, washing up from the weekend!!
On the plus side I gave some people the new Anew cream and someone has bought it cos she likes it on her skin!!

so... everyone double check what the invoice says if you e-mail them for additional items or an amendment!!

well delivery arrived and thankfully they managed to sort it out and now i have camp 16, 17 and 18 books!!

two boxes were delivered to work (as they were supposed to be) and one box was delivered to home!!! same delivery man so he was a little confused!

only thing missing was one blusher so all in all not too bad

Wish I'd done the Money Maker on In Bloom - I seem to have sold tonnes of the stuff! I've got 6 bottles of the Absynthe so fingers crossed that sells well too!!

Actually, I doubt you missed much by not doing the Moneymaker on 'In Bloom'. I ordered 3 and had sold none until this week despite giving out 40 samples.

Perhaps we can have a tally of how many we've sold between us - i don't imagine it will trouble double figures

Absynthe is lovely, and I've ordered 3 so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

gave my mam and sis samples of Absynthe and they loved it and said they would buy it next time round but talking to them this week they both said that the scent doesn't last long at all.was gonna give out samples to customers but don't think i'll bother-and i've never had a single sale from giving out samples.sold 3 lots of In Bloom over 2 campaigns and i hadn't given out samples or highlighted the pages of it.
