tigrisdea... Good idea about getting your Mum to get you started in your new area...if she is happy to do so I would say go with that..
On the new territory front, if no-one is doing it at the moment, you could canvass it and any customers you pick up you could inform when you deliver that you are only temporary it would mean you would at least pick up some more orders before Christmas, you could then pass on the customers addresses to your asm for her to assign to a new rep...as long as you are happy to do the canvassing only to get customers for a short term gain then I would have thought that was fine....
I personally would be tempted to just go with the idea of getting started in your new area and maybe get some flyers done ready etc. rather than all the work of canvassing for such a short term...
Good luck with your move :-)Starting with Avon C6 target sales £150.000 -

Ta much for the advice. I've actually been talking one of my customers into being a rep, I think I'll give her the details of my current customers and then the area manager, obviously can pass the territory to someone else if she wishes, but I get the feeling there aren't many reps in my area cause no one loves avon! (how dare they)
I think thats a great idea for the flyers. Since my territory is huge, it's a bit far flung and, shamed though I am to admit it, when I tried a street, I only went back for the books once and got such a bad reception there that I didn't go back
So flyers may be the way to go, that way I don't have to go back for them and I can let my potential customers come to me(man, I'm so lazy....)

You were all so good when I had another query recently, so can I pick your brains again??!
The skincare has all been repackaged etc, and I am trying to work out if 2 products have been renamed or discontinued. The products in question are Hydrofirming day and night cream, and also the liposome cream.
Any ideas??0 -
no idea but whilst on the subjest...is the sss 'original' also called something else? cause people are writing names on order forms and when i come to sort out deliveries im left with sss of a different name
Also. I had an order in camp 14, the customer asked me to hold it so i did, i added it as a credit but didnt send it back with the driver when he delivered my camp 15 order. i still havent heard from her - not through lack of trying- so i WILL be sending them back when my camp 16 delivery arrives.
HOWEVER, one of my friends wants to buy a few of her items so would that money go in when i pay for the camp 15 before placing my camp 16? or in with camp 16s payment?
make sense?camp 12=£443 13=£425 14=£277 15=£474 16=£492 17=£438 18=£437 1=£319 2=£153:o 3=£220 :jSALES LEADER:j4=£202 5=£191 6=£167 7=£193 8=£216 9=£211

Is it just me or is the website slow tonight?
anyway someone left me a voice mail from a house in my street saying they have an order for me! it was for £20... and they've wrote down asking for a sample of the Absyinthe... I only handed her the C16 catalogue and it doesn't mention that new perfume in there so I'm a bit confused... unless she's been on the Avon shop website! Luckily I already have a pack of 5 vials added to my order
Anyway, my total for C16 so far is £262!! Can't believe it! I didn't think I would do this well on my first campaign
Mind, those free Anew beauty bonuses over a £20 spend on Anew in C16 have gained interest!0 -

I'm assuming we're talking about the dry oil body spray?SSS original is also called soft and fresh. It's the insect repellant one. And it's a green bottle

pinkbabe, you don't sound like a fool. You don't know if Avon have a process which must be followed for returns.
The only thing Avon ask is that you wrap it securely and make sure the barcode for your return is on the item and the returns form inside with the item. This is to make sure it is credited to your account.
Do you have any small padded envelopes (from freebies received) ?
Or depending on how small the item is, an envelope, a box?
