I am an Avon newbie on my second campaign and so far am doing really well C15 £498 and C16 £610 :j with another set of books to collect in still! Don't know if it will continue or if it is just cos people in my area haven't seen a book for a while so are ordering big. Anyway at this rate I am seriously considering giving up my job (currently on maternity leave) and doing it full time. What does everyone think? Is anybody here a sales leader, cos what I think is why only get 3% commision when you can do an area yourself and get 25%?!
Have been trying to put an order in tonight too but have had an egg timer when I hit save for ages, anybody else had this prob today?
Have been reading everybodys comments and have got some helpful advice so thank you to you all!
well done Lynnsmith on your orders :j
I am a Sales Leader, and I started off as a rep. Only became Sales Leader on C16 - must edit my signature, looks wrong.
I started doing Avon as while on maternity leave, my company moved, too far for me to travel everyday, and wouldn't offer part time hours, or work from home, so took redundancy.
I applied for every job going and didn't get a single interview. So my good friend who was already a SL for Avon was always talking about how well she was doing, so I asked her to sign me up.
She started as a rep, 3 years ago. 3 years later, she is an Advanced Sales Leader with a team of 32. And evergrowing, may I add. She is a full time mum, with 2 young uns, under 5. She loves the flexibility of Avon, being able to take her children out, taking the oldest to school, etc. Working when she wants to work, etc.
So yes, Sales Leader is a way forward. Talk to your SL or ASM about it.0 -
collected three books in from regulars today. First time using the new brochure bags. As much as they look professional, they dont actually seal and the three books and order forms were soaking from the rain. Going to feedback to avon to see if this is something that they can change because i do love the look of the bags just wish they had a zipper or something.
Collecting in more books on Thurs and hoping for a few more orders ready for friday deadline0 -
It is a problem with Firefox, if you have access to another web browser you should be able to place your order with no problems!
Thanks - used internet explorer and placed my order :T
Aureol212 - Think I will ask my ASM next week when she comes out to see me. Will let you know my decision!0 -

Hiya, I agree about the bags, I used them for this campaign and I have 'lost' a few due to the customers not being able to put the book back in and alot of them were soaking. Shame though because they do look fab.0 -
Hi girls,
I've had a quick look through but couldn't find anything. I rang Avon last week as I had been waiting for a Glam box that I had ordered for a customer ages ago. They told me that they were no longer in stock and that the customer will be sent a few goodies as an apology.
Did I miss something? I don't recall seeing anything from Avon to tell me that they were no longer in stock.
Grrrr! :mad:0 -
Can anyone help please
I seem to remember seeing that the nail corrector pen was no longer available, but if that is the case what are they substituting as the free gift on p66 of brochure 16? Anyone know?
Sorry - getting confused with a similar product
I had a letter about the Nail Experts Smudge Fixer which was in the sale brochure for C14 - apparently it's no longer available and they can't obtain further stock. I just remembered seeing it somewhere. Obviously one of my more blonde days'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

I think they notified us on our invoices when they sent paperwork out. But I don't always read mine properly, sometimes just skim it.
If you want one, I can check a few of the SL forums, see if anyone has a spare, they would also want p&p.0 -
Ahhh right sorry I'm really confused.
I'm on C16... my first campaign.
My SL has already brought round my C17 brouchures.
For C16 so far I have £190's worth of orders... so will my C18 catalogues arrive free with my C16 order?
Sorry for sounding like a numpty!
Also I realised about my discounted thing with the £200 limit.. but what happens if I go over, would I have to pay straight away or something?
Thanks for all your help!
No, the C18 books will arrive with your C17 order.
And you don't sound like a numpty. avon is new to a lot of us and there are lots of things to it, and if people don't ask questions, none of us will ever learn the answers.
If you got a Cost order of £500 and your limit is £200, then you will be asked by Avon to pay the difference - the £300 up front, to ensure the goods are going to be paid for. To combat this, it would be best to get someone to sign up with you, ie your DH or a friend and split the orders with them, so then you wouldn't have to pay up front.0 -
it was also in 'my messages' on the avon site about the glam boxes0
