Lozza, thank you so much for actually responding to that rant
I was thinking it might be an idea to call avon, but I was just wondering how quickly they could send me the books. I'm worried that my leads might change their mind.
And I didn't even know what a dsm was :P So thanks for that, I'll go find out who the one for that area is
Lol no problem, I have no idea until someone on flissys told me, its a great site! The speed at which they can send out books depends, it does say somewhere on the avon site but can't remember where - I know for next day or within 2 day delivery you can only order so many, but for say a week you can order a slightly larger amount.....easiest would be to ring and they would be able to tell you xAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Well I called them earlier and they said cause I'm still a trainee, I'd be paying full price and that my SL should me supplying me. Which she has with my current ones, but she doesn't have the ones I need... arg0 -
Hi All,
I have just done my first campaign to just my road and friends and family and my order was just over £100.
I am going to be made redundant in the next year and I have asked my SL for a bigger territory but she said the best way to do it is to become a sales leader myself and recruit my husband.
How do I sign up as an SL and how many others can I sign up?
Thank you in advance

I'd ask again for more territory - unless you road is huge, and your area is completely covered then you should be able to get some more territory.....your sl may hav eheard the redundant word and figured she can convince you to become a SL! Being a sl will not give you a bigger area - but you can build your own team of reps and earn from their sales....your team can be as big as you make it.....but you need 5 reps placing orders each campaign in order to earn anything.....I'd have a good think about - I become a sl in C10, been hovering around 4 or 5 reps for a bit (I work full-time as well so don't spend long looking for leads hence the slow growth lol).....but it is incredibly frustratig at times, people will cancel on you last minute...not be in when you call round.....place orders and not pay for them.....agree to sign up, take you books then days before order due in change their mind - you don't get refunded for appointment packs or books unless a rep places an order of at least £78, so if anyone doesn't order then you are out of pocket.....yes this is the bad points - not trying to put you off, just show you the sides that your sl might not tell you at the beginning lol, I enjoy it, really nice knowing helping people and obviously the extra money is nice too lol!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

whilst delivering and collecting books yesterday with my kids, we came across a house where the front door was open and the kids said they hear noises. told the next door neighbour and they went and had a look, didn't think anymore of it.
had a call today from the police, turns out the owners are on holiday and we stumbled across a break in..
when i delivered to the neighbour this evening they said that the owners like to drink and when they were in the local had told everyone that they'd be away and that the dog was going into a kennel, yet they hadn't mentioned it to them.. no wonder they got broken into... eek.Missysx

I may get my SL to sign up my husband under her then. I would like to be an SL but I was wanting to do Avon for at least 6 months before I considered it.
She is popping round with my camp 15 books tomorrow so I'll see what she says tomorrow.
Thank you for your help.

Hi Moneymaker2
Could be better to ask for more territory for yourself again before agreeing to sign up your husband, As you would have to pay the £15 fee again, Tax reasons if it is a second income for him & if you do decide to become a SL in the coming months it would be beneficial for you to sign him yourself!
I had to get my husband signed as a rep as I only had £200 credit limit to start, I signed through a AM so she gave me products to compensate for the additional £15 fee & thankfully got loads of territory - Although I have come accross 4 other reps on some of my streets!
I was thinking of becoming an SL too but as yet not gone for it - need to get more organised on my round 1st!
Good luck with your SL tomorrow!Avon C11 £751.22! C12 £722.42! C13 £651.93! C14 £1180.37:j0 -

My delivery date is Thursday this week and my invoice is 'prepared'. Will that be too late to get a replacement with my Thursday delivery now?
Searching using the product description still only gave me items I had ordered from the 2 most recent campaigns, but the item I wanted credit for was the campaign before that! Grrr
In the end I just put the credit through as that side was fine, then emailed Avon and asked how I got my replacement. They replied that they have ordered the replacement and I will have it in 5-7 days. Still none the wiser on the proper procedure lol but at least I have sorted my replacement! Delivery day tomorrow so already getting excited about receiving my new goodies hehe
If anyone remembers my question from a few pages ago re demo products, I ordered 2 demo products last campaign, but only received one as we are only allowed one of each. I tried reordering the same item this campaign and it is showing on my 'prepared' invoice as being included in tomorrow's delivery. I'll update as to whether it actually does get delivered, but if so, it means you can get 1 of each demo product per campaign which might help someone else who wants 2 of an item for gifts etc0 -
I think I'm right in saying that you can only order replacements in the current campaign and one previous. Outside that you have to return and re-order.
With the demo products, I've found that it works if you order one in your current campaign, then order again the next time round as a back order - got both as demo prices that way
