Following on from earlier posts re Demo items - I've just got my invoice and my back ordered demo's (items also ordered in the previous campaign) HAVE been invoiced at demo price rather than brochure price :j

    congratulations on signing up.

one thing I will say is if you say you are going to collect books on a certain day, do, because then customers get to realise you are serious and will definitely look at your book and may buy.

Don't get disheartened if you don't get many sales or if people refuse the book. It's natural.

I personally don't make many sales, usually about £100 if I am lucky, I boost it up by buying stuff for myself or for gifts for my customers.

Do creative ordering, it helps. Some of the experienced ones will probably be able to explain better than me how to creative order.

    good luck and enjoy it.

I've been around, just more lurking then posting as pretty busy. I don't have a holiday and am not going to get one this year as cannot afford it.

I am really trying to get more customers on board but am struggling...lol.

Definately ask all your family & friends if they will show your books to people they know - whether it be their workplace, their friends, neighbours, oh's work colleagues etc etc....in return you could offer them a free gift - it would only need to be something little, and obviously you would get your discount off it - worth doing to say thanks for their help to encourage them to show even more people!

Do you understand about "creative ordering"?

My SL did show me a few tips about creative ordering, but any suggestions welcome.

Married to the seas - which book are you ordering from, if it's C12 then i'm worried as i will have to order from those aswell, only got a few C13 to hand out. It is my first campaign also, so i would hope it's all in stock?!

Handed out another 2 books this afternoon

    Hi

I've had a customer who used to use a hair conditioner years ago that you left in and was good for head lice. Does anyone know if its the advance tech quick touch one or if there is another one.

I wouldn't worry about yellow dot products - usually they all turn up ok.

For creative ordering, check the price in the current & the previous brochure, sometimes the prices are different so you can order the cheapest but charge the customer the higher price that they thought they were paying anyway....though with family&friends you might want to just give them the best price to keep them keen lol! Also, you might be able to get your free bits & pieces, as the prices can be the same in each book but in one of them you might get something free. Is 12 your current campaign, or 13?
