Perfectwear range is the best they have extralasting lipstick which last up to 16hrs ( apparently ) & Extralasting Lip Colour
Those are the best ones for long lasting colour :beer:Life is what you make it;)0 -
Hi Skint Student
I can't say how long it would take I was signed on on a door 2 door campaign from my SL
I do family and friends but have very low turn over
But I do enjoy doing it and love the products :jLife is what you make it;)0 -
Darn it!
While I was trying to get my browser to talk to the website, Karen beat me to it (p80 in C13, BTW):rotfl:
I think a few of us are keeping the forum going all on our own at the moment - the rest of the world has gone on holiday'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

Hello
Are any of you lovely people based in Belfast? I used to love Avon but moved house and lost my Rep (careless of me I know).
I know I can order online but it is not the same as sitting down with a nice new catalouge and a cup of coffee. Was always a good customer and ordered far more than I ever needed.0 -
HI Everyone
How are we all? I guess most people are on holiday. HOw are the campaigns going? My last one wasn't very good. Got about £400 orders but the one before that was over £600. Never mind will pick up for Christmas soon.
Best wishes

skint student... i signed up online about midnight on the friday and my ASM was knocking on the front door with my books and contracts on the monday morning. It all depends on the ASM (area sales manager) for your area as they are the people who get your details and come out to sign you up - that is if you signed up on the official avon site.
echo - id also suggest the perfectwear range...i have used the eyeshadows and the mascara and they do last all day!!
Also a tip i picked up is if the customer uses a tiny bit of their foundation on their lips first to make a good base (and neutralises the colour of their own lips therefore giving a truer reflection of the lipstick they choose) .. then apply a layer of their lipstick.. blot it.. dust on some face powder to set it.. then apply a top coat of lipstick. Should make even normal lipstick last longer...Hope that helps! (all that beauty magazine reading as a teenage girl is finally paying off! lol)
dizzygn - not sure if anyone on here is in the area.. but you can always go onto the avon website and there is a bit where you can request your details to be passed to your local rep by filling out a form online and then the rep should contact you with a book. Heres the form: https://www.avon.uk.com/PRSuite/needARep.page
snowwhite - my last campaign went really well... but then i havent collected my books for this one yet. Hoping i dont have a good campaign to be honest... took my 10 hours to sort my delivery last time and 4 hours to deliver it... with 2 orders still sat here waiting to be collected! Just dont have the energy or motivation to do that again this time!! lol0 -

Don't often post but am a serious lurker but as its so quiet thought I would post.
I am now on C13 and after two awful campaigns before, this one is going surprisingly well. I don't have many customers and mainly do friends and family but normally hit about £110 - I'm already at £150 and have quite a few more to come in. I don't understand it but hey I'm not complaining:beer:
And it's given me a boost to try some more territory so we'll see how that goes too!!Leo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T0 -
thanx for that.

good tip.the customer has bought some of the everlasting foundation off me in the past so i'll give her the tip about putting it on her lips too0 -
I was signed up yesterday, made an enquiry on sunday morning by email direct to the local SL who had advertised in our paper!! I've just given out my first book and have several friends who have requested them. i'm just starting doing friends and family and see how i go from there.
I have C12 and C13 so have started with 12.
Any tips and advice welcome on how to get lots of more customers. I haven't been given an area as there are a few reps here, but my SL is going to check how much they do and get back to me.0
