I hate it when it rains, to be honest, and I know this is bad of me, I didn't go out this camp when it rained!! I paid for it though as I lost a lot of cats, they were ruined!!

More motivated C13 and more organisation needed!!!
  • Lyndsey I was the same, I didn't want to go out a few times this week because of the weather. This is supposed to be summer!

  • Can anyone help regarding the money maker thing?

I took advantage of the gold emulsion money maker option in the HT catalogue, now I know I am going to get invoiced for them this campaign. I have only sold 2 of these and I bought 8 I think, what do I do, do I send them all back and just pay for the two as normal out of the catalogue? I thought they would sell well, but I was clearly mistaken:rolleyes: Bad time of the year really!

  • Feeling a bit disheartened at the moment, i recently joined Avon (like i said a couple of pages bck) completed my roads & not had much response from my territory, only got 1 order out of around 80 homes, luckily i have a few people who order at work, my mum and myself order also. I have now handed out to some more work collegeues who say they might order something. Maybe the recession is not helping at the moment.

  • snowyemma - We all seem to be in the same position really, even my regulars aren't ordering much, if at all. I am hoping it picks up after the summer holidays, only one of my work colleagues ordered this time and normally I have 4 or so orders from there.

Chin up, think of the potential christmas orders:T

As several people have already said, it's a very quiet time of year - I remember C13 last year being absolute c**p. The good thing is that if you can survive it, then things get better leading up to Christmas, and even afterwards.

It's just a matter of keeping your head above water till it picks up. At least, being on here, we all know that it's not just us :D

    Hi All

I'm ex-avon and remember this time of year well with it - I used to hold a wee try and buy party at my home around this time of year with some of the more popular products - for the price of some pedi-peel pads, skin so soft soft & fresh and one of the moisturisers it could be worth it to get some extra sales.

I think sometimes people just want to see how to use different things. It might help...could be worth a try and it gets peoople used to a small party format if you do one near christmas...
