You won't be able to order the Spectracolor lipgloss as a demo as it has been out for a couple of campaigns now. If you want it you will have to order it from the normal catalogue I'm afraid. You will get 20% or 25% discount depending on your orders though. You can only backorder one catalogue.
So I am not doing very well this campaign either, in fact it is my worst yet (deja vu that:rolleyes:) I still have a few people to collect from but I am not sure that I am going to get much more if I'm honest. I thought C12 was going to be a great campaign too as there are loads of good offers in it. Wanted to hit £250 at least so I have a chance at getting the new rep incentives! I did however hit my £500 target over the 3 campaigns for the great freebies on offer. Here's hoping that I can use them in Aberdeen.
How is everyone else doing?
Elliebee - I have had that before too, I hate when customers do that, we ain't stupid!
PurpleChocolate - Hi!!! How have you been getting on in your area? My area sux at the moment!
I have to do a whizz around my area tomorrow to pick up stragglers, hopefully I can increase my sales a bit.Avon Rep

Hi - it's order day today and I still have a few people to collect from. This camp there seems to be a problem with people who order not being in or not leaving cats out!! Got some more returns too - the illuminating face pearls "were too pink" and a spectracolour lipstick "was like mousse" from my best customer. She loves her make up and does tend to return 1 thing per camp, but you can never tell what it's like until you try it.
I have been wondering - my ASM is looking for SL in all of her area, I don't think I could do this because when I asked for more territory she said there are no roads free near me, so if the whole territory is covered then how can I be a SL? I don't have a car so can't/won't travel too far.0 -
Hey Lyndsey
I have a return this camp too, Magix is too greasy apparently. I use it myself when I remember, don't know if it actually makes my foundation any better to be honest, but it is fine on me, but I do have dry skin.
How is C12 going for you? Also forgot to say that I have always paid Avon minus my returns, but I am not sure if they would let you underpay them by £40. Could you pay what you have then call them and explain? I haven't paid my invoice yet again, I forgot to take my cash so will have to pay it tomorrow (order day again) This worked okay last time as I always pay by switch, hoepfully it will be fine again.Avon Rep

Lyndsey, you don't need territory to be an SL, you need people to become your Reps and you don't want to all be too close together fighting over the same territory/customers (i.e. you want people in DIFFERENT postcodes to where you are preferably). This is where you either need transport or other ways of recruiting to make a success of it. Good luck.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Hiya
Have you had a look at the Spectracolour lipstick? What did you think? One of my customers ordered it this campaign so I don't know yet what her opinion will be. I searched the Avon videos on You Tube, and it did look quite soft in texture, the woman demonstrating it was using a lip brush to apply, but I know not everyone will want to do that
Thanks also to the person who answered my query about not being able to buy a demo of it. sorry I can't remember who you are, but I think in light of having to pay brochure price, I will wait until my customer has received hers and get her feedback on it before I buy
I'm not doing too badly for my first campaign. Should his the £143 target at least. I've set up several of my friends in the town I used to live with %age incentives if they pass the book on and sell more than £50. They get to choose products, then as I get them cheaper it doesnt end up actually costing me 7.5%. People are actually asking if they can have a book to do it now, so hoping C13 will be even better
Has anyone else done that?0 -
Summer - I ended up paying £48 of my own money - money for other bills!! I will be monitoring my spends with Avon from now on to make sure this dosen't happen again!! I do have £23 worth of returns, but didn't realise this until last night. Still swings and roundabouts as next camp I will have that in credit!!
I think I am nearly at £200 this camp, so-so. Have found this one hard for some reason, have been totally disorganised and I am not liking my new territory. Posh area, don't spend, one customer did last camp but this camp she didn't even leave her brochure out and never answered the door when I knocked to get it!!! The TV being on was a bit of a giveaway that they were in! And didn't leave it out the next day once I had put a note through their door. Think I will leave that road til last from now on, if I want an extra push for sales, though not sure if they will buy, but I probably thought that about lots of my customers at the beginning too!! LOL!0 -

I want to order a demo version of the spectracolour lipstick (the one with several different shades in one lipstick) but it isn't in my copy of HT. Does anyone have a demo code/price for it please?
When I place my order online, will I be able to see past HT's online?
Thanks
If you have HT14 look on page 39.. you can order the spectracolour lipstick and spectralash mascara together for £7...;)
You can only order from the current HT and the previous one... both of which will be viewable online when you come to place your order.
You cant "backorder" clearance section items though. You can only order from the clearance section in the campaign that is stated on the front of the HT i.e. on HT 14 will say "ORDER ONLINE IN CAMPAIGN 12 AT avon.uk.com" on the front cover. So you can only order clearance items in campaign 12 from it but other items in it you can backorder in campaign 13.
Hope that helps. Its very confusing when you first start!0 -
So I am going to give my returns to the driver when he comes next Wednesday - the Glam Box is just too big to post back myself!!! I put the glam box in last week and just now put in my other 2 returns - can I make them into 1 parcel i.e. put the bag with the 2 other items stuck to the box the glam box came in or is it best to put them as 2 returns? I tend to find that there isn't a huge price difference between the HT prices, and the price in the brochure minus your 25% discount (assuming you sell at least £148 to get 25%) - say something you want is £10 in the brochure, you would only have to pay £7.50Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
I am placing my order tonight, going to knock on the last few doors of people who have ordered before and check outside some houses that haven't left them out yet, try and get some last orders.
What camp can we order from the small brochure with the free nail varnish? Gonna see if I can get any more freebies from there, I am on C12...0
