Hey I took the plunge and signed up as a sales leader this week (eek!!) and am just looking for any tips from you more experienced people, what to avoid etc etc.
I have one friend who has signed up and I have 2 more leads. I have an estate to canvass for a new rep too so hopefully that will be fruitful in C13. Have you got any tips for getting new reps? As I need 5 in the first 3 campaigns, but I'm not sure how I'm going to get up to that number...should I rely on canvassing?

As most of my friends are a bit erm..lazy...so don't want to do this sort of thing. They also get it confused with door to door sales people and think it's degrading etc.
    Anyhow, thanks in advance!

Hiya, definately try canvassing, and expired brochure drops - good way to use up your brochures! Definately register on flissys, there are loads of SL on there so when you get stuck they will help, a very large document library of useful documents and the best bit is you can buy leads!!! That is how I am mostly building my team, just got my 5 and another lined up for next week. One is OH lol, and the rest are a result of leads bought from flissys. It is free for 2 weeks, and then after that point it is only £12 a year (so £1 a month essentially!) worth it's weight in gold in my opinion!!!

    Hi All,

I am new to this thread and started Avon in camp 5. For the first time I have had a brouchure in the local hairdressers...but my question is if I DO get any orders what should I do? Take the orders to the customers home ( and give them a brouchure like any other customer) or leave the orders at the hairdressers and ask them to give them out when the people come in and continue putting the brouchures in the hair dressers.

Sorry for the long question. I will be back later to post more and get to know you all...its just that I have to go and pick them up soon and I dont want to look silly if Im not sure how I am going to do it.

    Thanks

    Hayley

I'd personally take them to the customers homes, as long as you have addresses that is. They might have just left a contact number/email in which case you could ask them which they prefer? If they've written the hairdressers down as the address then I'd assume they work there or are friends of those who work there xx

There are some useful new downloads under the 'Training' section on the website.

There are various slips to give to customers and a discontinued products sheet which I've printed up for easy reference.

Some very dubious alternatives though - as someone has already said, Pina Colada Bubble Bath for Blueberry

I've just checked my C11 order and discovered that I forgot 1 person's order!!! I check and double check so not sure how that happened. The worst thing is she is on my C10 run and has ordered the eye deal 2 for £10 - do you think I should mail my ASM to see if she can get it for me??? Am gutted I've done this!!

I'd try your ASM but if not then my order goes in on Monday, I could order a set for you? just tell her there's a delay cos it was such a popular offer?

Don't beat yourself up about it - I doubt there is anyone on this thread (other than those who haven't had the time yet ;)) who hasn't done that at some time..........more than once in my case :o

If you're going near a newsagent today you might like to take a look at p48 -p49 of today's Daily Express - a double page spread on 'Avon at 50'

Haven't had time to read it yet, but it has to be good publicity :D

Thank you Melvis....this forum is great. been reading for a few days and really like it and the people seem great help.

When you take the orders to their homes....do you give them a new book or do you just inform them that the new book will be in the hairdressers?
