Hi, can anyone help? I have returns that I have entered on the avon site, when does the balance show up? I still owe the original amount, my returns amount to over £30 so am reluctant to pay the balance off in full.

You should be able to call up and pay the right amount, they then put a note on the account to say why you paid less than the invoice amount so your order doesn't get held

Sorry to be cheeky - I'm still struggling with an answer to the quiz question: What year did the the Link magazine become Hello tomorrow - does anyone know ? I've scoured avon site & hello tomorrow mags - I can't find anything !

I THINK it was 2007 - I seem to remember it happened at around the time I started. However, I'm not completely sure

    Hi there,

Linday, thanks for the kind wishes! I saw my ASM today and she seems pleased with how I'm getting on.

I've had 2 orders for the spectra colour lipsticks, so i'm hoping that my customers are happy. Its a bit late now to warn them that its more like a gloss.... Hope i hven't messed that one up.

Well done to all the other new avon reps and good luck to everyone with their orders. I've just got the C12 books and tere's some good offers int ehre, sp fo Anew, so i might be treating myself there!

I must be one of the early trendsetters too. As I am now on C12, and whenever I ask anyone they are still working on C11.

Trendsetters are two campaigns ahead, there are only about 15 T/s areas in the country. They'd now be onto C13 not 12.

  • Hey,

Im looking for a little motivation as I've just picked up my first set of books and I have only one order which has put me on a downer.

I was given C10 to start with as she didnt have any C11's, but I sent out 40 and I only got 25 back. I knocked on doors etc but most people had thrown them out... grrrr!! The three roads I covered had a lot of flats, which is where most of my catalogues have disappeared to. I think I might avoid flats till I've covered my territory once maybe then go back to the flats when I have more cats to loose :)

Is it normal to get 500 houses/flats to cover to start with lol!

Seems to be taking off more at work but I feel a little demotivated with my first dispatch! I must stick with it I know!! Just thought I'd have a little rant on here.

People do keep asking me about the lipstick advertised on the telly, which is great but now I gather its more of a gloss. One of my work colleagues has brought two. Now should I tell her before I put my order in lol

Try not to get too put off if it's a bit slow to start with - it will probably pick up as people get used to you. Very often, people have had a bad experience with reps leaving a book then never coming back and once they find you are reliable they will hopefully start to order.

I wouldn't worry too much about the Spectracolour. I think you'll find most people with simply think they were a bit daft to think it would be like a normal lipstick and will consequently be too embarrassed to return it :p (well that's what I'm hoping anyway :D)
