Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

Frustrating isn't it when you've logged returns but you still have to pay the whole outstanding balance? I guess they don't have any control over whether or not you actually send the goods back, only your goodwill that you will do so.

I always pay the account balance in full prior to placing my next order, as I was under the impression that orders are not dispatched unless the balance is clear.

Went to collect my first batch of C11's today. Put a flyer in saying free gift with every order over £15 and managed to get 4 people order over this amount, so well pleased with that. Total so far is £153.43 and still have 16 cats to collect as people weren't in/didn't leave them out :mad:.

Next lot of cats going out on Friday - 33 in total - so we shall see what orders they bring in.

Have to say I found C10 a struggle, only managed to get around the £400 like normal because signed OH up as a rep so we have extra territory now, otherwise I would have only just got £200! No-one at work ordered, and lots of my regular ladies who spend £10-£20 have been/going on holiday - luckily they are all back now so I'm really hoping this time will be better!

Trying a little incentive for them, spend over £20 get a free gift, hoping it will really help as I need to get bigger sales to save for holiday!!!

Sales leadership going well, currently at 29 reps, but will be losing 4 soon sadly :-(

I have one rep I have just tagged as my first downliner to become a SL who is placing an order for £800 - gulp! She is flying along....

From the 147 cats I put out got just 4 orders in so still struggling with my own sales. Ought to spend more time doing this than signing new reps up over the next 2 weeks methinks :-)

I have collected most of my cats, 2 more orders to come in, then 22 more to deliver tomorrow. Don't think I will get a "personal best" on my orders.
Got a courtesy call from Avon today asking how things were going. I said the deliveries still had teething problems, but am sure they will sort themselves out soon enough.
Summer - have you had a courtesy call yet?

Hi i only started doing Avon 2 weeks ago ive started on camp 11 and i have my first order to make on Thurs can't wait, my ASM is coming 2moz show me what to do. Ive got £155 in orders so far but still have a cpl of cats 2 pick up 2moz.

Would just like 2 thank everyone on the forum for all the tips you have all been a great help and have taught me sooo much. Ive been reading thru it the past week or so and I think you are all so friendly to each other its fab.

Well done on your first camp danielle, that's excellent!!
Has anyone ordered the loyalty pack? I am going to order it i think.
Also, I have quite a few samples, but I don't know what colours suit what customer. Someone ordered some foundation so I put a sample in of the same shade to one customer, but with lipsticks and things I'm just not sure??

Thank you lyndsey, most of my orders came from girls at work and i got a few small orders from houses that i dropped in. I think once they see me abit more and trust me they'll order more.

I left a note with all cats saying if anyon requested samples of foundation, lipstick or perfumes because there unsure if it would be right for them to call or text me. Ive had quite a few people requesting foundation samples as they wanted to buy it but didn't know whether it would suit them. Hopfully in the next campaign they will order.

Im going to throw an Avon party in few weeks, my sister is at college studying make-up so shes gonna help out. Shes going to suggest shades etc with the guests and show them how to apply make-up correctly. I think the guest will enjoy having a make over.

I think that others on here should ask girls studying make-up at their local colleges if they would like to help out at a party. It helps them build up their portfolio and gain more experience. My sis has just asked me to give her alot of sample lipsticks and foundations for payment.

How do you find the internet exclusive offers? What do you have to do? Sorry if silly question still getting to grips with it all.
