    Hiya all :)

I have tonight hit my MOV :j£82.65 so far in sales with 33 cats still out for collection, have a few stragglers am off out for tomorrow night and one of them is the girl who apparently orders all her cosmetics from Avon so am fairly sure this total will grow before I need to place order on Friday :D

Really enjoying Avon so far, DS asks me every morning what catalogue stuff we need to do in the day so he is keeping me on my toes :rotfl:

Also, one of the customers who has ordered off me mentioned tonight that she has a lot of friends locally who might like to order and she regularly has get togethers at her house so once we are settled in, she would love to have an Avon party :) Figure will be a good way to meet new people and make more sales ;) Might need some party tips soon though lol will be my first attempt :p

    Hope everyone ok :)

yeah that's probably the best way, splitting up your area between cats is easier and works out cheaper =]

Has anyone else tried downloading the 'Compare & Save' thingy (under 'news' heading)?

It's just coming up as gobbledegook when I try it. I'm sure I must be doing something wrong

Silly question, is the HOV your sales or your total order? Is orders from HT and cats included in HOV?

Absolutely everything you order counts towards MOV & HOV - but obviously you won't get commission on books, or anything out of HT. If you are close to HOV then it would be worth ordering a few bits to get the extra commission.

And no it's not a silly question I think I asked the very same thing on here when I first signed up :D

    Morning all :)

Just wondered, if an item is in the sale section of brochure 8, does that mean it will pop up in the clearance section of HT soon but cheaper? Am thinking abou ordering my mum the cats teapot and cup (she loves quirky things and anything to do with cats lol). Was going to get it her as part of her Xmas pressie and keep it to one side for a few months...

    Thanks,
    S xx

Hiya, That sometimes happens. However the prices in the clearance section vary, sometimes the same items will be in clearance for a few campaigns and price will vary by a few pounds. When you take commission into account it may also work out cheaper from the sales book.
HTH, just what Ive noticed over the years

I do the same though, already got a few things in my little cupboard for birthday presents and even christmas

  • So I went to collect some cats from the part of my territory that I didn't cover last time. I got 3 orders with a total of £46.00:jI am now up to £429.00:jI also have to go back tonight to a customer who definitely wants to order, so I am hopeful. I wanted to break £400, now I want to break £500:rotfl:will I ever be happy! Still have some friends and family and a few more places to collect from, so it is possible.

jovichick it sounds as if you are doing really well. It would be great if you could get into parties! I have a customer who absolutely loves Avon and buys most of her skincare from them. She isn't into make up much but her daughter buys it from me:T Hopefully your customer will be the same.

Coxy - I haven't sold nearly as much watches as I thought either. I think I have sold about 5 (including me) and loads of people have ordered enough makeup to buy the watch, but have chosen not to:confused:I am considering buying another one, might do, might be good to make up in a Christmas basket...

lozza - I am the same, I work full time as does OH and now with me doing Avon, it does take more time than I thought. I would love to be an SL, but I don't have a car and I don't know of anyone yet that would fancy it. I might reconsider near Christmas.

BUSYB - Several times I haven't got my order form back either:confused:I always attach a sticker to the bag, asking them if they don't want to receive an Avon book in the future to tick the box. One customer took the bag, peeled off the sticker, stuck it to card then carefully sellotaped the corners of it to my book and didn't tick the box:rotfl::rotfl::confused:

Just a quick question to the people that work full time and do Avon. How many houses are in your territory? How do you fit it into your life - do you go in the evenings, as soon as you're in from work? etc?
