So far I am sitting at about £195 I think. Haven't added it all but judging from the orders I got yesterday that should be about right. I definitely have a few more orders coming, and my own, so I should hit the £250 mark. I still have stuff from HT and cats to buy. Are you getting the Starter kit for £10?
How annoying about that woman!!! I have went back 3 times now to a woman that has said both her and her daughter want to place an order, she is never in and she said she would drop the cat to my door, but haven't heard from her. I am going to try one more time tonight, but if she's not thereNever know whether I should bother redelivering to people like that, makes me worried if they do order and I can't get payment!

Not done the final total, but looks like it's over £150! STILL got my sister's to get!! And one woman, who I went back to TWICE said she wanted to order something, left the brochure out with no order!! Another woman still hasn't had a chance to look at it, so I said the deadline is this evening, when I was moaning to my sister about it she said they were as bad as each other!!
Doubt I'll hit £200 but you never know...
What's your total so far Summer?
i'm on my 3rd campaign and for my first i didn't think i'd get £50 of orders as most of them didn't come in till late.i got just over £271 but that included books and fees to avon-and i had 21 customers order.a LOT of the folk where i live are old old and only 5 of them have ever ordered0 -
I have heard the starter kit is very useful, but not sure if I would use it? I don't plan to make much this month, spend what I make on future free gifts, possible gifts for Xmas etc.
What are you ordering from HT? Cos I'm not sure you get commission on it?
I think I will continue to give her a cat, maybe they just don't have money this time...
I am also worried about non payment! If you turn up with the goods (Am planning to pop notes in a few days before with final figure so they know and can have the money) and they say they have no money today - do you give them the stuff?0 -
NO!!!! Never give out orders without payment! Unless it family of course. If you hand over the goods without payment, theres a very good chance that you will never see your money and be out of pocket!
If they say they haven't got the money on them, just ask politely when would be a good time to call back, people are really nice and normally have just genuinely forgotten to make sure that they have cash on them!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
I was thinking of getting the starter kit but am unsure if I should? I hope to reach the £250 mark for my first 2 campaigns and I should get plenty of samples with that. I don't intend to go demonstrating products unless someone specifically asks me to.
No, you don't get commission on HT, but there are a few things I want for myself (antler bag springs to mind and the set of scales) There was also some jewellery.
Definitely DO NOT give customers their products until they pay. I would only do that with family and I am going to do it with my work colleagues as I see them every day and know where they live;)
I also intend to buy some things I can use as free gifts. I am quite lucky in that I will get a couple of beauty bags extra so one of them will make a nice gift. Intend to creative order so I can maximise the amount of gifts I get!

i had a good one the other day.took an order and the lass ( a regular) said that she had to get her washer fixed so couldn't pay me till tomorrow and that she'd left a message on my answering machine that morning-no message at all.one of my customers ( an old lass) was sat waiting outside for me the other nite cuddling her cat but screaming.a greyhound on the loose had just killed it.hence the deliveries took longer cos i had to go get my spade for the neighbour to bury it0

I bought the rep bag, which I think was £10 (£5 split over 2 campaigns) which I thought was good, got a few samples in with it, a full size bottle of perfume, a lipgloss and a pack of paper bags. The bag is good quality, although it isn't much good for carrying lots of books around as it isn't big enough - but it is useful I find when delivering orders, as I can keep a purse with change in it, along with a clipboard with letters on saying that I called to deliver your order but you weren't in could you give me a ring.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Echo that's terrible!! Sounds like something that would happen to me!!
I need to get my @ss into gear and get more brochures out this camp! Done half the territory in 1.5 weeks, and am away this bank hol, am sure it will get quicker the more I do it.
I got a vanity bag free on my order - nto sure why, but might make a good gift, or something nice for me!!!
I can't get my head round the creative ordering! Am sure that will take getting used to also!0 -
See I was hoping to use it for carrying my books, as right now I am using a Marks and Spencers Bag For Life, lol. I intend to normally deliver about 30 at a time, but the bag is getting pretty worn already. I hope to deliver then collect at the same time.Avon Rep
