I ordered 2, one showed as £3 and the other as £39 on the subtotal but have gone through fine now my orders been processed xxSmall business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0 -
I don't normally leave my order quite so late, but just realised I haven't submitted it and the website doesn't seem to be working, with 50 minutes to go until the 10pm deadline, it doesn't look good... Does anyone know what the alternative is? It's not a huge order, only just hitting the £78, but don't want to miss it... Will they accept an order tomorrow if it is the website that is at fault?
EDIT: Yes, seems to be ok now - phew!0 -

Right, I put my first 39 books out on Monday, to pickup today. Went straight after dropping my kids at school but only to pickup the ones that were outside, didn't want to knock on doors that early, in case people were still asleep or on school runs etc. Picked up 9 of 39 books, only one said they didn't want another catalogue, and - wait for it - four orders, totaling £69.70!!!! :j:j:j I am sooooo pleased!!!! Will go round later again and knock on the doors where they didn't leave it out. I haven't even done half the territory yet, and my friend is giving me an order of £10 so I have already reached the MOV! Not to mention the stuff I want to order for myselfLBM 31/01/2009: £19,422

I have thought about this a lot and tried to look at this from a different point of view. For example if my mum did Avon and I took a book in for her to my work and one of my colleagues started up Avon, I would just tell my mum that one of my colleagues has started Avon and it was a good run while it lasted:rotfl:
I don't see why she should be offended as she is not the rep, it's the same if other businesses that I have canvassed have staff that take it up. I would completely understand that they would order from them rather than me. The thing is, I was originally going to ask her permission before I did it, but I thought that was a bit silly. I even spoke to loads of my colleagues about it before I signed up.
See I have a territory but so far it seems to be a bit of a wash out. Most people aren't interested it seems. I have just put out another 40 and still have over half to do (90 houses or so) but I have been very surprised by the amount of people that have ticked the box to say they want to be removed from my delivery list. I considered not doing this for my first campaign, but to be honest would rather deliver to people that are interested and might buy. I just hope that the 40 I have dropped off today prove to be better.
Okay so now on to my own order. I normally buy my make up from Boots and use either No7 or Revlon. As I am now a rep it makes sense to order my make up from Avon. So I currently wear No7 Stay Perfect Foundation in Almond. Which Avon foundation would be similar to this, type and colour? I like a decent coverage so am thinking Ideal Shade Natural Liquid Foundation as it's buildable. I am also going to try the Avon Magix.
Mascara I normally buy Loreal Volume Shocking, the one with the white and black wand. I really like thick lashes. I am thinking the Super Full Midnight as the brush looks quite similar. What do you think?
Eyshadows and lipstick should be quite simple. I tend to stick to glossy lips, quite neutral and eyshadows tend to be browns and golds.
I have a question regarding the free pamper treat in C8, I noticed it states if you buy a full size perfume on pages 80-83 you get this free. What on earth is a pamper treat?
Okay I'm exhausted after having talked so much so about to get the dinner on!

Huh? No, sorry, I wasn't talking about you. I am going through a dilemma with a work colleague at the moment so am just having a rant. Sorry if you thought it was directed at you.
Edited to add, girl in need, what was your dilemma again? I have scrolled back several pages but can't seem to find it. What do you need help on? You may have accidently been missed.Avon Rep
