Suppose it can be a bit hit and miss like that. I will need encouragement not to give up if my first round isn't that successful!0

LOL! Would the majority of your 59 posts posted be on here???
I love the fact that no question is ever stupid - normally I am so scared of asking things in case people laugh at me, but you know that's not the case here.
:rotfl:You got that right, I am pretty sure nearly every post bar 10 or so are on here. I have asked loads of questions and I still have loads more. I think every post I have made has a question in it LOL.Avon Rep

Ever had the feeling your gonna have a rubbish campaign.. you just know deep down?
I have it right now...
put 31 books out on tuesday to my regulars just got back from collecting.. only got 9 back with 5 orders...... I'm missing next campaign due to university commitments (im sooo far behind with my work) so i asked people to order whatever they may need for the next 6 weeks this time as i wont be delivering in May. Thought maybe people would have stocked up.. but obviously not.
Im making about £7.50 commission so far after paying for my catalogues and the orders ive got are from my good customers so im not hopeful of the rest.
johanne from your previous posts I think you have had very successful campaigns. I have tried my best to read through this whole thread over the last couple of weeks and I remember seeing your posts and thinking how well you do on most campaigns. You never know hun, maybe the cats you didn't get back will have orders in them too. If not, lets hope that your customers will have missed you when you go back and order loads to make up for it;)Avon Rep

what a stupid idiot I am,
I placed my order on Tuesday night,
mad rush as my friend was supposed to forward me an order but by quarter to 10pm still no order so had to send it,
Well I have !!!!!!ed up, just checked my online invoice and I have made some critical errors  I am so angry at myself as it is something I would never normally do, I normally check, check and then triple check before I send.
Have ordered stuff to more cost to myself
one of my sisters work mates made a huge order of £65
but used creative ordering as she used brochure 6 and managed to order her one of the products from HT and got her an anew bonus bag at 50p cost to myself.
but also had her LBD perfume ordered from the sale section HT but when I went to order it I realised I wouldn't make commision hence would cost more so put it back to C6 order @ £6 or so I thought I forgot to click C6 and now have ordered it at £12 so costing me £2.88 instead of making profit.
And another customer had ordered the 4 sss stuff for £5 but I failed to click on to the product number at the top of the brochure on that page neither did the customer  but she has the 4 product numbers and price £5 So don't know wither to send it back next month and reorder it using the proper code.
AVON are guilty of doing this a lot and i normally double check but I didn't.
and now to charge her the full costs it would be £16.25 and it is an oap so I know she doesn't have that but to give her it for the £5 I am out a pocket £7.02 arghh I am so annoyed at myself.
Next time I am sending the order on a Sunday ( or so the customers will think so I have time to double check all my orders.
so my alright campaign has just turned out crap :mad:Life is what you make it;)0 -
i have done that myself lots of times and it is annoying if you email them and say it was a mistake you were meant to order the 4 for £5 but you were rushing to put your order in and didnt notice the mistake maybe theyll be kind and give you the credit back,i have done that before and they have credited it me back0

Don't beat yourself up about it. We've all been there, done that, ordered the wrong tee shirt
Just put it down to experience - you'll be extra careful next time (and I'll bet you'll make a few mistakes along the way despite that). I ordered something from the wrong campaign on my C7, and also failed to spot that my customer had ordered 2 of something.......told her they'd only sent one, of course'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

Oh dear, you have all got me really worried come ordering time. I want all my orders in several days before my order is due, luckily for me it's on a Friday, so should manage to see all my potential customers before the weekend. I am definitely going to attempt creative ordering. I have had one order so far of an anew moisturiser from a one I canvassed so hopefully someone else will order something and from that range and I can get the anew beauty bag for myself, if I get several orders like this I will hopefully be able to get all 3 of them and I can use them later for prizes or something!
I also popped into another hairdressers when I was out for lunch and asked if they wanted a catalogue. She said they used to have a regular Avon lady, but they haven't had one in ages. She said funnily enough she was just thinking she hadn't seen an Avon book in ages. So I have given them a cat with extra order forms. I have told them they can keep the cat for the whole 3 weeks and I will pop by just before my order is due to see if they have any orders. WOO HOO, might get some orders there then!!
My SL seems really great as she told me that she also has loads of samples and things, so if I ever wanted to use some for a lucky dip or something...
I hope I get some more orders today and hope to put a lot of effort into Avon next week as I really want to push for good figures for my first campaign, well every campaign really! Could be doing with the comission:TAvon Rep

As I am starting on Campaign 8, I wonder if I can back order items or will it not let me do this as I start on Campaign 8? I have a Campaign 6 book at home!
Also when it comes to ordering do I just order things per order as in 1 customer order at a time, or do I lump them all together and just place it as one order? Does the computer recognise you are entitled to free gifts? So for example my customer has ordered the anew moisturiser at £10, and if someone else orders the same at £10, do I add the anew bonus bag at £0, or does it get added automatically?
Does this make sense?Avon Rep

any free item will normally have an item number so you will have to put it on unless it states that it comes automatically, when i put my orders online i normally add each order individually save then add the next person if you know what i mean.then at the end i check the orders then send altogether.also you can only back order by 1 campaign if your on 8 you can only back order from 70

I place each order individually but save it not send
no the computer doesn't recognise free gifts you need to double check that hun, if you have 2 ordering something and you want to order the free gift you need to order it yourself.
I have done 11 campaigns and this is the first time, putting it down to stress lol,
Was tempted to return the sss stuff and tell the customer it is out of stock temp and will be sent the next order and reorder it using the code.
But I won't bother I will just put it in to experience.
I managed to get a fair bit this time and even with the mix ups I am only out a pocket 18quid.
That was me ordering 30 quid of stuff including book and samples. so I am not to disheartned but like I said costly lesson well learned :rotfl:Life is what you make it;)0
