Out of the first 30/35 houses of the new territory I got 3 orders so hoping it continues with the big bit I'm collecting from tonight xx

Out of the books I got back (probably 65/80) I got 8 orders totalling £75.90 :T:T:T

Hi,
Quick question.

Did anyone else take up the phone offer of Anew bestseller products? It was for the Dermabrasion System, 24 hr eye cream and Flash Facial. I received these items with my C5 order and was charged for them on C7 invoice. Price is showing as £50 customer price for each set of 3 and total of £54 my price, so potentially a £96 profit for me if I sell them for that (I ordered 3 sets of 3 products).

Trouble is, I don't sell an awful lot of Anew and even then it's only one item. C8 cat has the beauty bonus bag offer, so I won't be able to sell these items if people order them this time round, as I can't order the beauty bonus seperately. Plus if I sell a couple of the items, how do I obtain credit for them individually if they are invoiced as a set?:mad:

Think I will have to return them. Anyone else have the same problem??

Hi all, have been reading a bit on this thread and decided to sign up as a rep to try and make a little bit extra to help pay off debts. I filled in the online form on Monday, got a call from the ASM on Tuesday morning and she came round that same afternoon and before I knew it I had signed the form. She gave me 20 books each for C7 and C8 and a territory of about 130 houses to start off with (unfortunately had given my own street to someone else last week!), so I am now planning on putting them out over the weekend (I must be mad at 37 weeks pregnant!).

How many days do you guys normally leave the books until you collect them? Anything to take into account when first starting out?

I too took up this offer and bought 2 sets:eek:.
I returned them all for credit when i found out about the ANEW bonus offer in C8.

Who is going to pay full price for an item when they can get a freebie?

I did it online and looked for the products using the "search" feature at the bottom of the credits page.I just put "Anew" in the search box and then added the items that way.

The fewer words you put in the box, the more "products" it brings up for return.


By the way, I always do credits this way so that I can return the most expensive items for credit:rolleyes:.

Welcome, I am a newbie myself:T

Wow, can't believe you are staring out at 37wks pregnant, but good on you!

Like you I was only given 20 books for each campaign. However I was given 180 houses (although there has been territory confusion) Because of the amount of territory I was given I have decided to leave them for 2 nights maximum, otherwise getting round my whole territory will be impossible. Also I have a feeling if you leave them much longer people tend to forget they have them and end up throwing them out.

As I have only just started too, I have put in an offer 'spend £20 and get a free gift' and also put stickers on my bags stating 'please tick this box if you prefer not to receive an Avon book in the future'. No point delivering to them if they just aren't interested. I also put on the sticker when I will be collecting the catalogue and to leave it on their doorstep. You will find your own routine, I only did my first drop on Monday and have one order from the 12 catalogues I got back. I am going back tonight to pick up 8 more as that is all I have left! Also give them your email address and mobile number so they have other ways of placing an order too.

I also went round to my local hairdressers yesterday and they have taken a catalogue. I have said I can leave it with them the full three weeks. They said they will try their best:T

So I would try local businesses too, I have 2 more hairdressers to visit, both are 5 minutes away!

My SL has been great and has ordered 100 more catalogues as myself and another rep have asked for more. So she said hopefully I will get them on Monday.:j

Melvis well done on getting those orders, I would be ecstatic if I got that!

Collected in about 30 books this morning and got 2 orders totalling £25 so not too bad. Have to go back around tonight to collect those not left out. Hoping to get more books out soon xx
