Just a quick question on the new web site it shows you with a green tick that products are in stock does the yellow dots mean its not in stock cause i have a few???:o

They only show if it's 2 working days or less til your order need to be submitted, if that helps

I'm a newbie! This is the third time I've done Avon since I was 18 (I'm 26 now) and I love it. I have left Avon previously because of unforeseen circumstances but hopefully I'm in it for the long run now. We have just had our second child 9he's 2 months old) and as my other half works both day and night shifts, it'll be a nightmare for me to return to my usual 9 to 5 so I'm hoping that Avon will enable me to subsidise his income enough so we can survive with out me going back to work. Finger's crossed! I am prepared to out the hours in.

I have been given 200 houses but only 15 C15 books and 15 C16 books so it's going to be a struggle especially if I don't get all my books back. I am collecting my first street later on so I'm hoping to get at least 4 orders from 27 houses. That's my personal aim!

Thanks also for all the tips and ideas. It's been so so helpful reading everyone's comments. xx

Hi all, another newbie here!
I had a leaflet through my letterbox yesterday recruiting for avon. There's already someone who does my street, but I'm just looking to do work, friends and family to start. The area manager (or whatever they're called) is coming to see me tomorrow to go through what I need to do. I have to say though that I'm confusing myself reading some of this thread! I didn't know you had 2 books on the go at once. I hope I'm not going to get muddled up!

I already have a part time job, and just looking to make a bit extra for the nice little things in life - a few more nights out instead of 1 every few months!

I'll be reading this thread with interest and hopefully gain a few hints and tips to help me along the way.

Emma I had exactly the same problem. So I contacted my asm to ask if I could recanvass some houses in my street - i only moved in a few months back. This helps because I kinda know which houses are not worth trying - eg elderley men living on their own. And thankfully there is no other rep in my street

I also have offered a free girt for any customer who orders more than £15 - i have bought theses free gifts from clearance or HT.

It depends what you're current campaign is. If you're on C15 then you can only use C15 books but if you've started on C16 then you can use both

You don't have to have 2 books on the go at once, some of us just do it so we don't have to order as many and we get more than 3 weeks use from them saving us money not ordering as many
