I have returned goods in an Avon carrier. The stuff is delivered and collected from my MIL's so as long as it is fastened securely and the returns label is clear, I've never had a problem. It might help if the boxes opened properly and then we could tape them up with any returns
Now that I know someone else has done it ok and it was not my delivery man winding me up i might give it ago the next time I only have a few items to return. Boxes are a right nightmare to open let alone try to keep for returns!!!
Does anyone have any joy with the moneymakers? The last two I have done I have only sold 1 item and end up having to return it all like this time. Don't think i'll bother with the next one. Its suntan lotion but I sold loads when it was 3 for £10 in one of the brochures0 -
if you do the money maker and only sell one of the three items how do you go on retuning them for credit same way as normal never retuned any moneymaking items i no il end up keeping others0

You get charged for them 6 wks later so they are charged on my invoice for my order tomorrow. The last time I returned them I did it the same as any other return minus the one that I sold. Think there is a code for surplus not sold or something along those lines
The last one was the new am pm creams. I put out loads of samples hoping to sell a few and the TV campaign but sold 2. My nan is interested in another so may be 3. That will leave me with 6 to return.0 -

A tip with the Avon boxes is to open them upside down so you can use them for returns:jAvon Rep since C18 2008 (Sales Leader since C7 2009) and Usborne Rep since March 2008:j0

I have to say most of my orders have come from older ladies! Haven't got many bungalows in my rounds, nor council houses lol, but you definately can't judge a customer by their house! Had lots of orders from houses I never even expected to get the book back from - on my "rough" street (it isn't that bad, but some of the houses have got old sofas festering on the front lawn!) I used my old books, so although I have lost the plastic bags at least the books couldn't be used again in any case - definately the best way to test streets/houses you are unsure about! If I don't get the book back the first time then I don't bother again, as I push a card through saying I will return the next day to collect, please leave outside even if not ordering. This works for people who have genuinely forgotten to leave it out.
Definately worth trying all of your territory at least once you never know what orders you might get!:beer:Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
I looked at the suncream money maker on the website....and it didn't seem very good value to me - we can buy the suncreams at 3 for £10 in some of the brochures, so if you get 25% commission that works out at a cost of £7.50 in total - so £2.50 per suncream. And yet they want you to buy them at 5 for £15 (with no discount I'm assuming?) so it would be £3 each?!!!
Unless I'm missing something obvious!!!!!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Hi all, I'd like to apologise for my outburst last night and this morning and to anyone I may have offended...:(
I really wanted to makea go of Avon but I feel I have been let down. My first delivery has failed to arrive and Avon havent called me back tonight as they promised they would.
I'm sure you can understand my frustration at this situation and my anger towards Avon and their couriers though at the same time its not fair to take it out on people here.
I simply hate bad manners and for a courier to not let me know whats going on is simply that.
No offense taken by anyone I hope? They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson
