Do you work too? I work shifts so I'm just trying to find my feet getting the dropping and collecting right... Talking of which I'd better get in the shower as I start at 1400!!

Yes, both me and my partner work full time. He does proper shifts, 12 hours, so sometimes he is off during the week so he does the dropping off/picking up then. I also work shifts, but only mon-friday (though have 2 hours of traveling each day!), one week I'm back by 4pm, and this week I have to leave at 1pm so fit it in around then.

Once you've got a system going it doesn't actually take that long, especially not dropping off books, but collecting in can be a pain when you have to go and get the stragglers back in the following day!

Once You Get In A Routine You Will Be Fine But If Struggle Getting Books Back Off People Have Tryed Saying To Them That You Work Shifts And They Can Email You Or Text You You May Loose An Odd Couple Of Books But Ive Started Doing That With People I Can Never Catch In And Its Worked Atleast You Get There Orders

in a brown envolope dont want to put in box just for that does any one use brown envolpes in stead of boxes thanks;)

Should be ok to do this. My delivery driver told me that I could return stuff in a carrier bag if I did not have any boxes there! Must of been something to do with all the tape I used to seal the box. Don't feel comfortable sending returns back in a carrier though:eek:

I have returned goods in an Avon carrier. The stuff is delivered and collected from my MIL's so as long as it is fastened securely and the returns label is clear, I've never had a problem. It might help if the boxes opened properly and then we could tape them up with any returns ;)

C6 sales a bit slow but the books I've given out at work have to be back to me on Monday as I break up from work on Tuesday so need to get the order sorted before then. Out of the territory I was given, I've only delivered to about 10 houses over the past 2-3 campaigns as it seemed to be a waste of time with the other houses. My DH and I seemed to always be wandering round the streets to see if anybody had bothered to leave the books out.

When I get back from my hols, I might re-canvass the area but one street looks like mainly 'old people's bungalows' so I always felt like I was inconveniencing them by asking them to leave the books out etc. On top of that, a lot of the properties are 'council' houses so call me snobby but I just know that I won't get the books back. By the time I'd paid for the books and the plastic bags plus time and petrol, the value of orders I got just wasn''t worth it which is why I've just been delivering to the regular orderers.

Plus I've had no contact from my SL/ASM except to remind me to put my C5 order in. I asked Avon to get her to contact me about the poor territory I was given but so far, no response and I've given up waiting.

    Sorry - moan over

hi all, my main customers are from council estates as they think avon is cheaper than expensive brands and do the same job, and the private houses i find are snobby and dont really want avon i had one lady when i recanvased my round the other day tell me she didnt like avon as she thought it was cheap:confused: ,out of 30 books for recanvasing on the private estate i didnt get 1 order but 5 people dont want it at all and the others were left outside so will try them again.I live in a council house and love avon products as do most of my friends.

    Thanks Jelly_be4n

I didn't mean to offend (if I did). It's obviously just the street in my territory
