    MORNING ALL
got a bag to return not a big bag do you think it will be ok to return
in a brown envolope dont want to put in box just for that does any one use brown envolpes in stead of boxes thanks;)

Should be ok to do this. My delivery driver told me that I could return stuff in a carrier bag if I did not have any boxes there! Must of been something to do with all the tape I used to seal the box. Don't feel comfortable sending returns back in a carrier though:eek:
  • some people dont understand how BIG avon is ...i mean they are serving more than 170 000 reps every campaign .... so problems do happen sometimes, nobody is perfect yes it is annoying that it happens on your first delivery but blaming me for it can't make you fell much better can it?

i am not directly employed by avon or anything, just a salesleader with alot of background information

either you take on the info given or leave it no need to be rude

I'm not taking sides so no-one shout at me lol - but I think the reason liz3yy reacted the way she did was because the courier should have delivered last week, and never did so it was rearranged for yesterday and obviously they didn't deliver again - I think most people would be a bit pe*d off at that, especially when having to let down customers on your first campaign!

BUT - salesleader you were trying to help so there was no need for that sort of a reply, you were only passing on your experience & knowledge in the hope that it would help. Hopefully now we can all go back to being friends again :D or at least not enemies lol :D

Had a nice surprise last night at work - I always give one of the cleaners at work a book and she normally spends £5, for one thing she's spent £13.50 this time because she wants some free samples, but also she'd shown the book to her friend who has spent £12.50:D Will definately be giving her a bit of something extra as a thanks for showing her friend :D

I had a nice surprise too... My order is due in today and I've still got cats out but I thought I'd just drop a note now saying the delivery date will be later, but I got a call last night from a new customer who wanted to order, so they popped it through my letterbox this morning and she's ordered £34 of stuff, woo hoo:T

AND - I put a sample of Bond Girl in with all the cats this time (it's amazing how many you get back unopened... and opened?!) and have sold 2 with it!! I know two doesn't sound a lot but I've not even managed to do my whole round of my first territory this time so that's out of 49 houses. Not bad me thinks.. AND I've just put my order in and there's only one yellow dot, all the rest ticks. The yellow dot is for my mum too so I know she won't mind if it's not there yet.
I think you just need to give things a couple of months before you start seeing real success. This is only my second campaign and I know I've probably spent my commission on either myself or stationery but I think once I start being a little more organised I should be able to get a nice little return.
For all those out there feeling dispondant... keep it up - even if you just give yourself six months. You really need to give it a go.

Wow that's really good - we tried last time putting perfume samples in every book, hardly any of them were taken even if the people had obviously looked at the book! So won't be trying that again -it's nice to hear that it can work though! I agree on giving it some time, we've been really lucky with being given a large territory & people being really keen on Avon but we have spent quite a bit on ourselves! Well, me & mothers day presents lol!

Ha I know, my mums even buying my easter present for me out of there!! I tried to explain I could get it cheaper with the commission off but she wouldn't have it!!

Lozza, how many houses do you have now?? I've tried to order some more cats this time in the hope I can start putting more out therefore save time..

I was given about 180 originally and then managed to get about another 120 (though I think it is slightly less than that, as when I went delivering this week some of the numbers randomly don't exist! Not even as if they have been knocked down or converted 2 houses into 1!) so have approx 300.
