Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

I am on my second campaign, only have 40 houses, but there are 300 plus in my village without a rep, but my SL says I can't have them until I get higher order values, which is ridiculous because a rep from a village 10 miles away came and put her books in 30 houses in my territory, leaving me with just 10 houses for this campaign. Thinking of complaining to avon head office.

i dunno how many houses i had last time but a lot.i've lived here 6 years and nobody has ever put a book through my door and there are loadsa houses on the estate.i would complain to Avon as well if i was you.

i started with 70, 12 of them said they wern't interested so took me to 58. I was given another 98 but another rep was already doing some without telling anyone so I lost about 30. So now I have got about 140 in my area and just under 130 that I can still deliver to.

they do not like giving more, as I have found out. It has taken a lot of phone calls and e-mails to get that many.

I have got to wait 6 months and if I am doing ok then I can have more. Must depend on your area as some new reps that stated at same time as me here on this thread have got about 200-400 homes already.

I do like avon and I am going to keep doing it but I am begining to think that they just do not want to let any more people into the PC. I have got no chance of making it on the amount that I am getting at the mo. Although I know sales do jump up a lot at Xmas.

I wanted about 250 homes as I am trying to get the extra bit of money that I need to pay for my wedding. So I shall wait another 5 camps then try again to get more homes.

only thing I would say is you can sign up your OH and then you will have more but 33 home is definatley not right so ring head office.

thanks for that.don't have a bloke so am gonna have to ask for more houses cos i won't make much on what i've got at present

Just collected in my first set of books and out of 29 books got 5 orders but total now at £106.70!! well chuffed, going back out 2night 2 redistribute my books. Have concerns tho, got 200 house and only 40 books for my first campaign and only have a week to do it (well 4 days now ) worried that will have only few houses on C6 now then give them C7 next time. but those I haven't managed to do will give C6, prob is my two halves of territory will not be half, will have bout 120 on old campaign and only 80 on new?? should i give some of those I'v not seen yet C7 and make it 50/50??? cheers x

I would do 50/50 then you are not going to have to rush too much each camp. Maybe give everyone an extra day with their books.

Also it will mean you wont have to order more book (keeps cost down)

What I thought is my SL is actually the ASM. Have emailed her as she is not answering her phone as usual, to tell her that I am really desperate for more territory.

I was given 70 houses initially which I've whittled down to about 50, plus I've been given another 116 to try so I think it depends on where you live and who your ASM is.

On another note, my delivery is due tomorrow and I've read on the website it's going to be 6 boxes! argh!!! I wasnt expecting there to be so many lol

Have you ordered any free handbags from C5? Each one of them is classed as 1 box, plus you box of brochures it won't all be boxes of items

Yep I've ordered one handbag.....a whole box for just one bag?! thats ridiculous! lol
