Just flicking around in the HT8 book, notice they are selling a cotton Bag For Life for £3, 25p goes in commission and 75p gets donated to breast cancer, seeing as you can buy these bags in loads of places for £1 i think its very bad of Avon to make a profit on these bags, they should donate all profit to the charity and offer no commission instead of making money from it

Yeah I thought the same thing, Primark sell a good one for about £1,50 which looks very good quality.

Well the way I see it is this is a business and not a get rich quick scheme, and all businesses have to spend money at the start to make money later, at least I'm hoping so anyway....

I completely agree the first 3-4 campaigns you won't make huge profits.
but with perseverance you could have a lucrative deal on your doorstep.

I spent around £20 the first few campaigns to build up a good supply of samples then after I just topped up and bought 3-4 free gifts every campaign.
I now have 75 freebies in stock
    @ 300 perfume/aftershave samples
    160 lippy samples
2 of each colour of foundation samples
@ 100 lotion and cream samples
    and about 30 bath samples

Each order I try and keep my stock of samples up but recently I let it slip over christmas.
I usually make around £50 per campaign and around £10 is for books and samples so I still make £40 for minimal effort.
But I am happy doing it and I enjoy trying the new products and giving people positive feedback and not just sales patter ;)

I know a few ladies do half and half
if you run out use campaign 5 for some of them so you have the oppertunity to see more customers ;)
Then you can if needed look through the orders and if anything is cheaper in c6 edit it and order from 6 so your customers know you are doing whats best for them.
Honesty is always good with your clientel.

Does anyone know where I can get a C5 brochure? I want to back-order but the internet version isn't the easiest to read...

Just delivered all of my territory orders and they were all in and paid straight away :D . Ok, I only had 7 to deliver but I thought that was good. The lady that ordered the most (over £30) said that her daughter was dying to look at the new book so fingers crossed they both order £30 worth next time ;) . I've got another 3 orders to get money for but they are all friends and family so will get it at the weekend.

The lady with the bracelet was a bit disappointed that it was out of stock but was very pleased with the free jewellery box that I gave her to make up for it (I got it free anyway and didn't want it).

I also put out 74 books and covered one of my new roads with C5 and 2 of my old roads with C6. There were flats in my new road. Luckily one of the blocks had the secure door open but the other didn't. I pressed the 'trade' button on the intercom but nothing happened. I was going to walk away but the stubborn streak in me thought 'that is 6 possible orders!!'. So I pressed the buttons until a lady answered and asked her if she wanted to see an Avon book (put it more politely than that!). She said no but did I want her to let me in anyway!! I delivered to the other 5 flats but just left her out and crossed her off for next time.

Going to pick all of them up on Monday and then redeliver to my other 2 roads on Thursday next week as I have the day off.
