    hi grace

I never highlight or put any collection info on the forms, so i can use them over and over again.

I put a small printed slip in saying collection date and delivery date. but that is because I get annoyed have to write my info over and over and over again LOL.

Thanks, that is such a great idea, now all I need to do is get more territory, how my SL thinks I can get higher orders on the territory I have got I really don't know!

Dont bother filling in the forms its a waste of your time and order forms just leave them blank , then if they have orders on then just pop the campaign and year on them 01/09 for example :)

I also just use a small slip of paper printed on the computer alot easier :D

    1. Mystery gift over £20 (or whatever spend you choose). Buy gifts from sale book, HT clearance or filch from spare bonus bag/gifts. Wrap gift in cheap tissue and seal with foil sticker.

    2. Prize draw. Every order entered regardless of value. Spare handbags or make up bags make good prizes - include cheapies and freebies as above, and some samples. I usually make value up to around £30 (don't forget bag itself is probably about £10).

    3. If you've got plenty in the goodies box, then draw 5 people to get a mystery gift with the rest getting a perfume sample and mini choc bar as a consolation prize.

    4. Include a note saying 'Free Stuff in Brochure *' and list all the freebies in that book. Don't forget the BOGOFs and similar; you'll be surprised how much there is, but with the right layout you'll get 4 to an A4 page.

    5. Last Christmas I did a 'Star customer of the Year Award'. Small bag of goodies for my best customer, based on frequency of ordering, value, reliability, etc. I don't base it only spend, as I feel that's not fair on those who can't afford so much.

    6. For those who've bought in a particular campaign, include a sachet of hot choc drink to encourage them take a break and look at the brochure - works particularly well at Christmas when things are a bit hectic.

    7. £1 off (or any amount you choose) in a particular section of the brochure. ie 'spend £10 in skincare section of this brochure (then list page numbers) and get £1 off'

Having said all that, I'm not at all sure that anything makes any difference. I just work on the principle of keeping people interested and not thinking 'just another Avon book' ;)

We never bother with any promos, sales always seem the same, we did try something 2 times in the past and sales were worse, think its a waste of time myself.

I'll let you into a secret Deanos.....so do I :rotfl: However, I just think it might keep up the interest levels...........but then again, I could be wrong (which, being a woman, I never am ;) )

    Hi

I am about to start my 3rd camp and I just have a couple of questions for you more experianced reps.

    1) How many times did you drop brochures to every house, even those who didn't order? Or do you still? Do you ever only drop to those who have previosly ordered?
I always do every house unless they have asked not to recieve a brochure. the best thing to do is to pop a small slip in eavh brochure saying something like. . . . i do not wish to recieve an AVON brochure ________(house number) that way you know. but dont stop doing a house cos they dont order as they may not need/ want to order out of that camp!
    2) How often do you re-canvess your entire area?Every 3 or 4 camps?

    3) My main sales have been from Make-up, any ideas on how to boost sales on purfumes? or any other products.

I pop in free samples on a seperate sheet slotted into the page then i doesnt ruin the page from the sellotape . . . also wear the parfum! people may ask what it is . .. . kerching SALES :)

    4) Do you do offers every camp? Like spend £20 get a free gift? Or do you do it every other or 1 in every 5?

I try to do one every other camp but i always do a flyer . . . my last one was pamper your self for a fiver! For camp 7 im doing treat your self for under £3.50 :)

    Thank you

    Elle

Hope this helps Elle and good luck! Cat x x :T

I've worked out that with my signing up fee, rep bag (which I thought was invoiced later?!) and bits for myself, my first campaign has actually cost me £20! oh well.....I'm hoping that C6 will generate a few more orders than C5

Well the way I see it is this is a business and not a get rich quick scheme, and all businesses have to spend money at the start to make money later, at least I'm hoping so anyway....
