I'm wondering if it makes a difference if you sign up with a SL or an ASM? I signed up with an ASM and was given 180 houses straight away, ask for some more and was given another 120! Granted, that was after I couldn't get hold of her for 2 weeks so perhaps she felt she had to.....perhaps SL are more protective of giving out territory because of having to sign up plenty of rep's in order to make their money? Don't know how it all works just a though! only 33 houses though is really bad that is nowhere near enough to get lots of sales!!!!

a salesleader is self employed and builds there own team...where as a asm is employed by avon and looks after approx.450-550 reps in her area(recruiting, training, giving out roads, emailing make sure order are placed etc. asm are out all day sometimes even 7 days a week signing up new reps as they have targets to meet... whereas we salesleaders decide how much we are going to do. sl have to contact the asm to get roads as there the only ones having access to it.

    but

i would say that beeing signed up by a sl would have many benifits, e.g. all my reps have my mobile, email and i respond immediatly, giving support when needed and basically have much more time for my reps.

some asm's are very careful when giving out roads....the standard amount of houses is 80-120. but some asm give more.
there are lots of areas in the uk where the is no terretory available at all.
i have alot of new reps that when they join they eager to do terretory but then never bother doing it or just placing 1 order and then disappear. etc
e.g gave out terretory of 100 house to 1 lady and her order came to £8 after having 3 weeks to put the books out wow that was probably her own or friends but not roads.
aint really fair giving out roads to people like her where their is others desperate for roads

i'm dealing with my sl this time around ( the last time i found the asm terrible to deal with so i'm glad my sl is having to!).so my 33 houses that i've been given can you advise me on how many i should ask for or is it really pushing things to say i'd like x amount?

ask for more roads, say that those 33 houses have been covert...hopefully there will be something available..gl

    33 is way to low

in my area in south london we been advised that out of a 100 houses you might gain 15-20 customers..but what could be a potential on 33 house almost nothing

also try leaving books in offices, care homes, gp surgerieshairdresser, schools nurserys, church anywhere u go really walk in and ask if they would like a brochure they cant say more than no so you got nothing to lose

    hi everyone,

found this forum today and i think i am able to answer many of your questions.

as my nick says i am an avon salesleader and know alot of hints etc.

    1. if during registratrion on the website it says Dob doesn't meet credentials...dont worry it just means that your account isn't loaded properly yet ..try again the next day and it should be fine.

    2. sample pack.... if you dont like contents of sample pack or bumper pack...you can return those back to avon... just make sure you return it in full and you should get a refund.

if people are straying on your roads it aint easy to get sales, these roads were allocated to you... you can drop books to people you know or if a customer says that her friend down the road would like a book you can go there even if its not on your terretory as people have requested to see a brochure.
but if another rep is covering the whole of a road its clearly that she is straying wild....some reps do that when they are desperate for sales...naughty

if your sure that she aint just serving a few people she knows and strays all you got to do is get in touch with your asm and give her the name of that rep she will sort her out. dont know your asm ? i can find out who your asm is!!!
    Hi
I am after my ASM I have her number and its the right one as I called her a couple of times before xmas but now the number goes dead. Avon said they will pass on a message but not heard anything. I am in area 202.

    Hi MoneyMaker

Glad you're within sight of your plaster coming off! I just had one of those lightweight splints which fastens with velcro, but that was bad enough although at least being a wrist it didn't completely stop me driving after the first few weeks. I'm now learning to live with the resulting aches and pains from muscles which are out of practice! I've got very proficient at using a mouse left-handed! Hope you're soon back to normal!

C6 total so far is about £370, and there may be a couple more to come - order doesn't go in till next Thursday :D Does anyone know how you go about claiming your 3 new customers (which I've genuinely got!!) and emailing to receive the free samples.....which will probably be loads of 'out of date' stuff :p I know they said details would be with the C6 order, but I wondered if anyone already has their C6 so can give us the details?
