Yippee went to collect in books today, some outstanding that should have been left out yesterday (2 orders from those) and lots of re-orders from people whose stuff I delivered on Wednesday, so got £250 of orders now and lots of houses left to do, plus family orders :D

It's a good job really, normally get a bonus at work this month, the amount varies upon how well the company has done, we were told last month it would be about £200, but now they are saying we might not get one at all because they've noticed "mistakes" in accounts, some from up to 5 years ago!!!! & the CEO had the cheek to email us all saying this, and saying it is a hard lesson from being un-commercial in dealings!!! When us technicians and other lower-paid staff had nothing to do with these mistakes, it's the well-paid people should be getting their a***s kicked & they won't be bothered at not getting a little bonus with earning so much anyway. Sorry for my little rant, but it made me soooo glad that I started Avon as I had been relying on that bonus to pay the rest of the holiday balance off but at least with Avon I can still do this.

Thats what I do, so that people can leave them outside and if it rains then they will be ok!

it's been some time since i last did it but i guess it makes sense.also i suppose it's a bit of an incentive for the book to be put outside ready for collection?

I am NOT happy, my first delivery failed to arrive as the courier claimed they couldnt find my house and they didnt bother to call us!!!! I called Avon and my ASM to complain and was told I will have to wait until Tuesday now.

This is my first campaign and I'll have to tell my customers that their orders will be late, I'll end up looking a muppet :(

This has dampened my enthusiasm for Avon now and makes me wonder if its worth the effort if I'm going to be let down

This happened to me once, I put a note through everyones door saying:
    Dear ……………………………….
    Address: …………………………….
Thank you for your recent Avon Order.
Your order was originally due to be delivered to me on xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Due to delays at the Avon Warehouse, the delivery has been postponed. I hope to have your order by xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and will deliver it to you as soon as possible after this date.
For your information, your order total is £…………
Please accept my apologies for this delay and any inconvenience it may cause you.
    Thanks
    Melanie

Thats a great idea, I'll do the same this weekend thanks. Luckily I only have 9 customers this first campaign so wont have too much extra work. I'm just very annoyed with the courier company for not even trying to contact me this afternoon.

I know, but don't give up yet! See what happens next campaign. I find most customers forget when their Avon is due anyway, and if you let those who know the delivery date know it's going to be late then they're satisfied that you kept them up to date xx

Oh I'm not giving up! my boyfriend was furious but I'm not the sort to give in easily and will try everything to get what I want at times. I really want to make a go of this so will give the courier a chance to redeem themselves next week.
