Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

I was wondering if anyone can help re sales leadership.

I have possibly 2 people that may sign up as a rep... one who will only do it under me though.. i didnt intend to become a SL just yet as i cant drive and am too busy with my university stuff to deal with a large team.

However id be willing to help these people out... ive emailed my ASM about whether its possible for me to sign up as a SL with just these 2 people for now.. i know i wont earn anything from them but id be happy just to help them out for now and guide them... and then when i have a bit more time i will put the effort into my sales leadership and recruit others then. I dont think its going to be possible but does anyone else here know if i can do this??

I know my ASM will be pushing me to become a "proper" SL as shes been trying to get me to do it since the day she signed me up as a rep! I have a feeling she will ply the pressure on now ive even hinted a bit of interest... But i dont want to do it just yet... not to "strangers" anyway!

Hi am on my first camp (5). someone has ordered the clinical eye lift out of the sale (pink ) brochure & its £11.50. Was thinking it would order it for £12 out of the camp 5 brochure and get the free mascara and gift box - but does the eye lift come in a box in itself ? ie would customer know if just gave the eye lift & kept rest ?? thanks

I got this in my order and the eye lift and mascara came separate. No gift box but one of the special gift bags (white and green ones) that must be left over from C16 or whenever they were used last year :rolleyes:

salesleadership.. to become a sl you need to order the sl pack which costs £25 sign and return the salesleader contract....you could sign up only 2 people but its not worth it as you need atleast 5 people placing orders to be able to earn of them....plus there are bonuses recruit 3 people in your 1st 2 camps as a sl and get £30 recruit 5 by your 3rd camp and get another £50 so that would cover you for the sl pack plus give u sometihing extra....you dont need to drive to be a sl i dont drive..public transport does it for me.
manage big teams? you bui ld your team and its up to you at what pace you build it obviously you wont get much out of a team of 5 or even 2.

why not pass those people on to your asm if your not ready as yet.

They do them in our area too. They used to be called 'Call-Ins' but have been changed to 'The Avon Experience' (you can interpret that how you like, but given the experience some of us have had with Avon recently.....:p )

I've only been to one and there were about 5 area managers there, each with a table, and you just had the opportunity to chat to your ASM - quite good as mine was new at the time. There were a couple of tables with new products etc, and you could have a tea or coffee, but all in all, nothing wildly exciting Ours are held on the third Wednesday of every month.

Can anyone let me know where they buy their bags from to put Avon books in for territory delivery? Want to start with my new houses but have no idea where to buy the bags from

I'd be reluctant to pass them on to be honest as the help and support ive had from my asm has been rubbish to be honest and i hate to pass it on my recommendation and then them to have a rubbish time being a rep and blame me!

I knew i wouldnt earn off them and it would cost me anyway.

Oh well. Might just speak to them and explain.
