Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

So I said earlier it looked like everything was there.....well it isn't lol! 2 of the bags from the far away gift set are missing even though they are on the invoice. Luckily my Mum had also ordered one of the sets, and wasn't bothered about the bag, so while I wait for the replacements to arrive, at least it means only one customer will be missing a bag - but which one! I have one lady who ordered last time, and ordered again this time, and another who this is her first order.....who would you make wait for the bag? I have got some freebies, so could give the person who has to wait a little something for having to wait in order to make a good impression....what do you ladies think?
I was disappointed with the free bags that came with C5 if you spent £15 or more on make-up, somehow they just don't look as good as the photo!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Lol it must just be me being fussy! For a free bag it's pretty good, but it still looked better in the photo in my opinion!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

lozza id make sure the first time customer got the stuff... and explain to the other lady and try and get an immediate replacement which should take 5-7 days if you can get it.
Hippy chic - no if you have just completed campaign 5 your customers wont be able to order from the sale brochure for campaign 4 UNLESS your talking about the pink "recession busting" leaflet... that was a one off valid for campaign 4 and 5. Hope that helps.
kate_pixie - any chance of you getting the contact details of this other woman and passing them on to your asm/avon to contact her and tell her its not her territory to cover. Wth your 10 books you have left could you knock on peoples doors and ask them if they already get a book and if not would they be interested and get them to keep the book inside.. and YOU will knock back to get it (incase woman steals your orders) Alternatively what about friends/family or local businesses?

Thanks, that's what I'd figured. The lady that has ordered before is really nice (and she ordered Kleeneze off us when we did that) so she knows I'm reliable. Plus, if I'm going to give anybody a freebie I'd rather it was her as I have a feeling she's probably going to order pretty much everytime. I've requested immediate replacements, so hopefully they will turn up soon. The lady on the phone (who I struggled to understand as she had an accent lol) said it would be about 5-7 days, is that about right? As only being on my second campaign it's the first time I've had to request a replacement!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
okay i am now officially all signed up, cant register with the website yet (says my date of birth doesn't match the credentials) which is really weird. I have been given a patch of my new build housing estate. I am really nervous about doing my first campaign. What happens if i only make something like £40 of sales. I know the commission doesn't kick in until 70 odd. I don't really have many friends in the area, I was thinking about taking a book into my hairdressers, but other than my mum, sister and neighbours I don't know what else to try.
Also I need to place my order by Sunday 15th online, what if i cant login to the system in time? I am such a worryer!! I think I am going to write some notes with my books to say if they dont wish to have any further books delivered, to tick a box, and I won't deliver to them anymore but my printer isnt working so i might have to hand write them argh. Am planning on posting the books through doors tomorrow.

For getting logged onto the website, your best bet is to ring Avon tomorrow, it might be that whoever signed you up mis-typed your date of birth when sending it to them - if you ring I would think it should be sorted out pretty soon.
It really doesn't take many orders to reach commission - it does sound like a lot, but I worked out my average order was about £12 (some were a lot higher, some a lot less) so it doesn't take many people ordering to get enough to reach commission.
