yes thanks im much better now so looking forward to getting books out n stuff this time. should i have ordered my own books since it will be my 2nd campaign? coz if so then i have cocked up

Nope, you get your books provided for you on your 1st two campaigns. When you place your next order you will order some books for your third campaign.

The books are provided as part of your joining fee. I'd definately ring Avon tomorrow and explain things.

ooh thanks thats a bit of a relief, i just need to get my 2nd campaign books now. i thought my sl was going to be great but im really annoyed that she is basically ignoring my attempts to contact her. going to try and ring her again tomorrow.

Hope you manage to get in touch with her. It might be worth, when you place your 2nd order to order books for the next 2 campaigns. As, when you receive your order, you will already be about 1 week into the next campaign, but with no books for it until your order arrives - so will cut down the time you have available to canvass your streets/family. If that makes sense!

Should have been something that your sl told you before - but the quality of sl/asm seems to vary an awful lot! It isn't a problem, but it would make time tight for you.

Morning everyone?

How are you? Well I got my second AVON delivery this morning. YEY. I got up at 6 as last time they were at mine for 6.20, well they didnt turn up till 7.20 this time so I got up an hour earlier than I needed to, but at least it came before I went to work.

I had a really big order off one new lady but about6 1/2 of the stuff she ordered is no longer available as she ordered out of the sale cat and I am a late mailplan. I hope she is ok about it and it does not put her off ordering. I did manage to get myself 2 free bags though. Yey.

So how have your camps gone, anyone else got a delivery today or expecting one?

Party on Friday (ann summers) did not work out as I hoped. Not many people had money so not looking to order. Have told them all that if they wish to look at a book in the future to give me a shout. Seriously thinking of taking on territory as only currently have family and friends. Getting married in May though so not sure if I should wait until June when I am back from Honeymoon.

I am sorry to hear that, although they didn't need to have the money on them, did you get any orders? Not sure quite how it would work but maybe if you do it again you could tell them the delivery date and say that they have to have the money with the "host" by the day before? Just an idea.

I was hoping to have a go at the parties when I have got the hang of delivering and ordering. Maybe it will get easier when you have done a few?

I know AVON parties used to be really popular years ago, I remeber my Mum having one when I was little. But I think they have gone off the radar a bit as there does not seem to be much advice on what to do anywhere. They are staring to come back again though now as AVON have got some really great products.

Has anyone else on here done a party and if so what advice can you give to us newbies??

Hi elle,

The people in the party were all people I know. I suppose they went for an ann summers party and I just tagged on the end. No additional orders only from people that ordered before but I suppose that if it was an exclusive avon party this may have been different. Never mind nothing lost i suppose.

Need someone that is good at applying make up so that we could have mini makeovers to show off the cosmetics. One to think about! :rolleyes:

I got my delivery this morning too, my first order and everything was there and i enjoyed sorting the orders out and stuff. I rang my asm this morning and still no answer so then i rang avon to complain and say i need my camp 6 brochures. so they are sending me them for free since my ASM hasnt given me them. It does mean that as it will take 5-7 days for them to get here i have only about 5 days to get them out and back in. not impressed but at least since you lot have all been helping i knew what to do and did everything right by myself without my ASMs help.
