The people in the party were all people I know. I suppose they went for an ann summers party and I just tagged on the end. No additional orders only from people that ordered before but I suppose that if it was an exclusive avon party this may have been different. Never mind nothing lost i suppose.
Need someone that is good at applying make up so that we could have mini makeovers to show off the cosmetics. One to think about!
I was reading the news bit on the site and I am sure that either in 7, 8 or 9 they said that they would be giving tips on ow best to apply the makeup, do you have maybe a willing friend, sister or mom that would let you practise on them? Or just spend some time applying make up taking it off any trying something else, if you have got a step by step guide it may be easier?
Practise makes perfect?£2,000 by October 09 for Wedding got £500/£2,000Avon - C4=£170, C5=£194, C6=£119,C7=£60 (aim = £200, 60/200)0 -
Just a wee heads up to anyone thinking of buying the bumper box or samples box don't.
I got mine delivered this morning and what a waste of money
The samples set had loads of perfectwear foundation samples which are obviously not in the brochure anymore and glazewear lipsticks which are also discontinued and samples of solutions creams that have also been discontinued very disheartned.
The bumper box was also full of mainly discontinued products
old senses shower gels, naturals products and perfumes mists that are no longer used and body sprays, lyrical, surreal and surrender.
and more jewellery which is also discontinued.
Lesson learned not to buy them ever again.
Luckily I offer gifts to customers over £15 so I can get rid of it all eventually.
But I really would have thought a company as big as Avon would have been clever enough to send out current samples and products.
Not a happy bunny here I can assure you.Life is what you make it;)0 -

How are you? Well I got my second AVON delivery this morning. YEY. I got up at 6 as last time they were at mine for 6.20, well they didnt turn up till 7.20 this time so I got up an hour earlier than I needed to, but at least it came before I went to work.
I had a really big order off one new lady but about6 1/2 of the stuff she ordered is no longer available as she ordered out of the sale cat and I am a late mailplan. I hope she is ok about it and it does not put her off ordering. I did manage to get myself 2 free bags though. Yey.
So how have your camps gone, anyone else got a delivery today or expecting one?
Elle XxX
I got my delivery this morning my order is normally here between 8.30am and 9am so not to mad
had loads of stuff this time as I had order a bumper box and samples pack ( separate post regarding them  )
My order was fine except 2 shampoos were missing, I had ordered 3 and they sent 1, but think the customer will be fine, she had initially tried to order the megasized 750mls bottles from C3(backorder) but she was late with her order so managed to get them from the flyer in c4/c5 3 x 250mls and said I would do them for the same price. so I think she will be fine.
Otherwise everything else was fine.
All bagged up and ready to gojust hope I get my car back tomorrow to get them all delivered tomorrow night.
made £53.36 this month but because my samples were really really low, I bought loads of them to boost it again and as I knew I had a good comissions I bought them all this campaign as next campaign who knows what will happenLife is what you make it;)0 -
Hi Karen,
Why not try complaining. I bet they have not got round to updating them as the products are only just chageing. Some reps probably wont bother, but I think you should complain as it you find that someone really loves something then they wont be able to order. Avon do say that new products are same colour and things so maybe if someone does really like something they can get something similar.
It is naughty really as they expect us to sell off these things. Try comlaining to AVON or your ASM and see if they can send you the new stuff samples.

Elle.
I haven't heard from my asm since she signed me up in October
I will email avon I think as I was a bit peeved I could have sent it all back but to be honest I just didn't want the hassle.
I did expect some discontinued lines but there were a lot more discontinued that actual brochure products.
Thanks for the wee push in the right direction, will email them now :TLife is what you make it;)0 -

Thats a brill idea! I have the brochure for 7 in the house but have not looked at it yet. Suppose I could put all the tips together in a leaflet?

I ordered a "beauty book" for 75p out the reps stationary and it showed how to apply make up in different ways... the products are a bit out of date/american versions i think... but the techniques would be ok if you needed practise.0
