I personally wouldnt sell on Ebay as the gear isnt ours until we pay for it if you see what I mean, but then I'm a scaredycat like that :)

I've been updating my order online, a customer has ordered an item that in the brochure is £10 yet on the website in my subtotal page it's showing as £6,99! why's that I wonder???

if your on campaign5 there were little "recession busting" leaflets that went with the main book with lower prices on certain items... im guessing the product was the Magix face perfector.. which in the leaflet was only £6.99 but is usually £10.

If you didnt get the pink leaflets to give to customers you just made an extra £3.01 in commission ;)
  • this is from the asm in northamptonshire - not sure if i am allowed to quote her on mse but thought it was important. any board guides if i am wrong pls delete and i will 're-word' it...

In the next few months we are having new mapping for the allocation of territory for Representatives. It is all being centralized through out the whole country. So Sales Leaders will be able to obtain territory from the central point. For me to import all the right information I need the help of you all, I need from you the roads you cover and the house nos of your customers (I do not need names of your customers) how often if ever you recanvass your area. If you decide not to give me this information I am afraid Corby and myself cannot deal with any territory issues you have in the future, so your co-operation in this mamouth task will be much appreciated.
it's nice to be important but more important to be nice!! :kisses3:

Re the territory email, does this mean that head office will now know exactly who covers what area? unlike now where it's a bit hit and miss?

Or in the main C4 book (different cat number) you can get two for £10 ( I think)

  • I have read all your posts about ASMs and SLs on here and I think I must be very lucky. My lovely ASM came and delivered 40 C5 books to me today (she already gave me C4s, C5s and C6s, about 25 of each!) She felt like I needed a bit of help because the village that was my territory is now shared...as of today. She used to do it up there, then stopped and when asked to go back said no. Now all of a sudden she wants to do it again (she's opening up a little shop with everything you can think of - repairs, arts and crafts, ann summers parties...oh and avon :( )
I suppose I shall just have to get used to sharing but I'm pretty sure there's not enough demand for 2 people...any tips on having to share a close territory?
I was going to see her and say hello just to be curteous...then maybe a little cheeky and ask who her customers were...no good door dropping her loyal customers is it!

  • Hang up on them! I have advised some of my reps to do so if they aren't interested, the problem is the call centre people are trained not to hang up until they get your order. I gave them a mouthful once :o never had a call off 'em since...

Yeah, I should probably be more resistant but I always end up giving in just to get off the phone so I can yell at one of the kids who always seem to take me being on the phone as a green light to create mayhem!!

I find the hang up ones the most annoying though, never mind!! I've susssed the numbers they use now so will just mute the phone when they ring :D
