Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

The cleaner did say she would order from me in the future if her usual rep isnt around, so all's not lost there. I have left a couple of books at work and one of my colleagues took one home to look at, no firm orders yet though.
I've been promised orders from the local pub landlady and the owner of the newsagents down the road but havent had their books yet, I'll have to do some chasing this weekend. They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson

Thats good news then, you aren't too far away from mov, so just a few orders would be enoughAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Ok bagged up and delivered all my orders yesterday £149 It's only my 1st campaign so I'm very happy
Everyone was in, they all had the right cash and nearly all of them invited me in which was really sweet
Delivered about 30 more cats and I have £105 of orders for C6, with 2 weeks left (and lots of friends orders to come) so I am over the moon.
I also felt quite gleeful when my mum came back with a message...a woman at our feedstore who lives in my area ordered and a new member of staff overheard and said she'd like one because the rep in their village is a complete pain. Ok so it's a bit mean to be gleeful and poach other peoples customers but I must be doing something right

well done to all the newbies.. you seem to be doing great!!:D
Another quick question - those who have bought stuff off other reps via the wanted - how did you pay? Ive heard stories of people being ripped off and trying to think of the best way to protect myself as it could cost me about £35 at this rate for what i want!0 -

Ordered more books this time so giving out a few more in work. Also going to an Ann Summers party in my cousins next week and she has asked if i'd like to take my Avon books along - I've got quite a few foundation, lipstick, perfume and other odd samples so will take them up with me and a few books. Will also be wearing every Avon product I own to advertise
Sounds like that will be fun, and a good way to get extra sales tooLet us all know how it goes:beer:

Just had an idea for getting more orders in my next campaign (currently doing free gift with orders over £10 in my first campaign).
Basically if my customers get £50 or more worth of orders from friends, family or work colleagues then they get a free Avon goody bag (could spend as little as a fiver on the goody bag if done wisely). They would need to collect the money from the people they get orders from to give to me when I drop them off at their home.
Does that sound like a good idea? I would just need to get a few packs of order forms so that I could put some extra in their books. Obviously not all of them would be used.

It's worth giving it a go! Would be a good way of getting more orders & customers - might be worth putting on your notes what the minimum value of the goody bag would be (obviously it would be the brochure cost, not how much it really cost you lol), as if people know what they are getting then they won't be disappointed, and as you say if you buy the items wisely it wouldn't really cost you that much considering how many extra sales you could potentially get.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

I'm a happier bunny, my ASM visited this evening to see how I'm getting on. She showed me how to use the website, gave me books for C4, 5 and 6 plus allocated me more territory. I've been given the village I work in which she says is worth potentially another £80 in sales, we'll see....They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson
