Scratch cards didn't arrive in the order as promised, thats 3 times they have meant to be sent :mad:

Wife has got hold of a number for the marketing department, they have promised to send them out ASAP we will have to wait and see.

can anyone else access the "view subtotal" bit of their order? all day ive been getting a "pricing is currently unavailable" message...

Thats what my lady did we me so that I could get the hang of splitting my territory right from the beginning. Thanks Lozza. Only just started and when she brought my first books, she said that there'd been a mix up and there wasn't any C5 books, so I got given C4 books for my first one and then now have C6 ones... missed out on the C5 brochures altogether. I've only got 66 houses in my territory so to half it wouldn't get me many orders... I might have to wait a few months or see if I can get more territory I think??

What would you do??

I have a customer who has ordered some foundation in C4. It's 2 for £10 and she's only ordered 1 which is £10. Would you order her another one OR order something for yourself for free??

Hmmm... I had that dilemma, although it was a work colleague who was filling in the form whilst I was there. I told her she could pick something else.. But then again I needed the new customer... you could always ring her and ask if she'd like to order something....?

This has cropped up before, and I think the concensus of opinion was that it is best to order the second one to gain brownie points. If you get yourself a name for being honest, then it's likely to mean more customers in the long run.

Of course (unless they happen to read this thread ) our customers have no idea how we gain my back/forward ordering etc.

You could do a little trick here... complicated thinking BUT bear with me...

She's order a £10 foundation right, so after having a little peek at the book just now to see whats included in the offer what about this:

a/ If its one the ideal shade foundations shes ordered then what compliments foundation? Face powder! So order her the "Ideal Shade Pressed powder" in the appropriate shade (only a choice of 2)

b/ If its the perfectwear foundation order her the "perfectwear make up remover" as the complimenting product to make sure she gets it all off properly as it IS longlasting stuff in that range.

That way she is getting 2 products for the £10 and one of them is "free" in her eyes and youve been honest enough to tell her she missed an offer....so you look good....

BUT it benefits you because if she likes the "free" product then in the future she will order that product aswell as the foundation from you increasing your sales.....;)

Whereas if you ordered her the foundation x2 you just did yourself out of a future sale of a £10 foundation when she runs out as you just gave her the potential 2nd purchase for free this time ...;)

Good morning everyone

Well got most of my orders out last night. One woman doesn't get paid until today but I cannot go back until tomorrow night. Think she wanted me to leave goods and then go back for the money. I didn't want to risk it as I don't know her. I know she ordered last time and paid but you never know do you? Anyway time for work again. It seems never ending doesn't it?

Yey my ASM finally called back yesturday, Appologising loads!! She gave me another 75 houses so up to 135 now. Just the right amount, I think I am going to do a split though.
