Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

At last I'm sorted, the SL has arranged to see me tomorrow night at 7pm to explain everything.

I have a rough idea how it works as my Mum was an Avon rep for years when I was at school. She made it to the presidents club and was forever getting brilliant freebies, she worked hard for it though going out most evenings to deliver books and orders etc... it's a shame she's not well enough to discuss it all with me now and give me tips (she had a stroke 5 years ago and still has memory problems)

If you're not sure how many free handbags you qualify for, enter 1 more than you think and the site will work it out for you. As you reach the qualifying amount it will automatically add the extra one (& when it's done that, you can add 1 more ). To check, go into 'view order' then 'view subtotal'

Great It would be nice to get at least one for myself For the make-up, I'm assuming when C6 is the current issue, and if my C5 customers order make-up (but not enough for the free bag) then I could order from C6 and claim the freebie for myself?

Popped notes through peoples door last week to say I would be delivering their orders on Wednesday between 9-12 - had been getting worried as nobody had rung! Was expecting a few people to be at work etc at that time of day! But - Just had to ring back 2 people who had left messages, and bless one lady, she said she's at work between 9-11 so could I come about 11.30! Most people probably wouldn't have bothered ringing (have a feeling quite a few people will be out, but hopefully I will be proved wrong!) so all happy now Managed to deliver quite a few orders today, to family & work so got about half of all the orders delivered

Hi all, now I have a date set for someone from Avon to visit I'm wondering what will actually happen? will they sign me up there and then or will I have to wait a bit?

Well my rep rang me today, and shes comin on friday at 12 to sign me up and give me more info....think ill be on this thread a lot more now lol!!

Hi Anyone about today??

I have put 40 cats out, put them out monday and going to collect tomorrow. I am hoping to get about £200.00 in orders this time with the offers that are on Makeup and jewllery. I am hoping that people will spend a bit for mothers day.

Still not heard back from my ASM.

Wow way to go Ellejay. Do you work full or part-time? I am at home this morning waiting for someone to come and do a repair, but have to be at work for 1pm as only took the morning off. Hoping they come before 12.30 as arranged but no sign yet. I didn't get home until after 7pm Monday night so only sorted out half the orders, finished sorting them last night and will be delivering them tonight. Collecting the books back Monday night as thought I would give them a bit more time to look at it this time. Putting some books out to new houses Friday night for Monday collection too as I find people have more time at the weekend. So will be busy next Monday night too collecting all the books in. I ordered more books this time so I don't have to go out so often. Was thinking now I've got just over 300 territory if I order 100 books I only have to put them out 3 times. Anyway will see how it works. Just realised I am writing a book lol. Anyway well done Ellejay and good luck on the orders.

Your ASM will get back to you eventually. They are really busy people and you just have to keep pestering them.

Hi Snowwhite,

I workfull time. 40hours a week. I took Monday off as I was not sure what time it wouold come but I am not doing that everytime and seeing as it is going to come that early in a morning there is no need for me too. I get back for about 5.30 but on a Monday I go to a slimming world club. I think next time my aim will be to get back and crack on with sorting it out then go to SW and carry on when I get back, thing that took the logest for me was ticking back the invoice. Then i will deliver Tuesday or Wednesday. Suppose it depends how much I have LOL.

I know ASM are well busy but when I spoke to her she promised to call me back on Friday, it is now wednesday. So it has been a week since i spoke to her. I just really want to get a bigger territory so I can use my books twice. You know get the most out of them.

I am going to give myself till I have done 4 camps then I am going to start trying to do parties. See how it goes. Are you going to give them a go?

Look whos writing a book now. LOL
