Had a call from a consultant at the hospital this afternoon to say that he'd just looked at my x-rays and there are 'a couple of breaks'

I'm going to the fracture clinic tomorrow and will be asking why they weren't picked up last week

Oh well - worse things happen at sea, as my Mum would have said :D

Good news is that I shall be submitting my C4 tomorrow, totalling around £350 :j

    Tough break ellie!! ;)

I hope you are not in too much pain, get well soon.
Congrats on your total - amazing!

My total this campaign for C4 was £310.

It is my first campaign with avon, but I really don't think i am going to reach my MOV! Can someone help, cause I can't get hold of my sales leader, she is never home when I ring doesn't answer her mobile or reply to messages or emails! I don't know what will happen if I can't do this.

It will get easier - have you taken books to all your houses? Taken them into work/sent OH into work & asked work colleagues to show their wives/given books to all family/friends & asked them to show their friends & take them into their workplaces to? Don't give up - once you have some customers you will easily reach your MOV and get loads more on top! It's my first campaign and I'm on £300:D I did all of the above & it's worked for me!

My OH bless him went round to collect the last of my books in today (I had to go in work early with the snow!) and he said one bloke had a right go at him! Saying I don't want Avon, you should know that, if something comes through my door I'll bin it!!! So that's one book lost - but it's one of the old ones so they can't be used again anyway, and at least I know to give that house a miss in the future!!!!:p
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

And of none of the above works, you could just buy a couple of things from the hello tomorrow magazine to make up the difference in the hope that someone will buy them in the next couple of campaigns, or you just send them back for a refund once your sales pick up.

  • Hi,

Could anyone tell me how big the pot is for the Anew clinical eye cream? I.e. how many ml it is? It doesn't say anywhere in the latest books and a customer wants to know . I even checked the Avon website but it doesn't say there either!

    Help!

    Thanks x
  • Do you mean the 'Clinical Eye Lift' with the over-eye and under-eye sections? If so, I checked mine and it's 10ml each part (don't forget you use very little for the eye area).

Welcome, Grace. Don't give up - as others have said, it gets easier. Good Luck

Yes thats the one! Many thanks for the info x
  • I just wonder what other people are doing about the flyer. I got mine too late to go out with most of my C4 books, so would be putting them out with C5. However, the prices are at odds with the brochure prices, ie shampoos are 98p in flyer but £1.60 in book, Magix £6.50 in flyer but £10 in brochure, and several more. I can see customers being very confused.

I'm half tempted to just forget I've got them; what do you think?

i was just putting them out with C5 as they were too late for my C4 books too.... i thought about putting in a note...but im trying to avoid putting too much paperwork in this time... what i HAVE done is put the recession busting flyer in the front instead of the brochure so im hoping customers will see that first...

Think they will get sick of sale flyers though as C4 had one then this one in C5 then C6 comes with a sale flyer too!!

What does everyone else do to promote themselves away from their territory? Do you find you get requests for catalogues from posters etc?

I'm looking to really boost my customer base, but i dont have any friends (:o :o:o:o ) I dont go to toddler groups with my DD, i dont go my hairdressers often enough to feel comfy asking in there... and my OH works in a male environment and as he's just been promoted its not very "appropriate" for him to go in trying to sell stuff :( I dont drive... and we dont have a car and so i cant really do parties... plus childcare would be an issue for that anyway as my OH works shifts!

I have tried ads on gumtree, i have posted a classified ad on ebay, i have advertised on my facebook status... but nothing has come of any of them!
