Oh dear the books are meant to be picked up today and there is loads of snow :o

Does anyone know howlong the gamecards take toarrive they were missing on Wednesday last week upon delivery but they havent arrived yet and customers keep asking for them
  • After the events of last Wednesday I forgot to ask for my missing gamecards (which they'd assured me in advance, would be with my order  ).

Mind you, no-one seems to have missed them :p

I have not received my gamecards either despite being assured they would be on their way and Ive had my next delivery since I asked too!!! Luckily no-one has asked for them!

Can i just check... there was an item missing from my order but i was invoiced for it, no big rush for it so can i just go onto the replacement section and ask for a replacement stating reason "invoiced and charged but missing from box".... is that right?! Done credits before but never replacements :o

Hey all I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice

Im thinking of leaving avon and i have not even done my first order yet. Im not doing any houses because i dont like the estate i have been given and hate the dark while walkin with a 4 yr old and 3 yr old and most people arnt in till after 5pm.
I can only do friends and family but dont have many family who will order. two mums from my sons school have asked me for a book so i have given them one. I have a mums group but dont think many of them will order.

How would you advise me on this and also how do you ask like nursery staff/groups/school if they want a book etc.. i just mentioned at school playground to the 2 mums that i had done avon.. not saying it to make them have a book as they asked me.

    Hi mumzy,
My advice to you about the territory is, firstly, don't judge a book by the cover. I was given a road, that is well known to be the crapiest road where I live, but the people there are just lovely and they LOVE avon! You will find the posher areas are not interested, I know must of us have found that, and I have 5 roads, and I have definitely less customers in the posher areas and more customers in the not so posh areas.

In terms of delivering and collecting brochures, you don't necessarily have to go in the evening. I never go at night, I only deliver the good at night, and sometimes hubby comes with me, or I take my dog, but I also deliver to my customers that are home in the day, which leaves about half that I have to deliver their good to in the eveving, which doesn't take as long.

Just put in a piece of paper or a label that says PLEASE LEAVE OUTSIDE ON MONDAY EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT ORDERING!
That way most people will leave the brochure outside for you and you can collect anytime you want, and for those who didn't leave their brochure outside, leave a calling card to say 'I came by to collect your brochure, if you want to place an order please ring 07..................

I hope that is helpful, I am afraid I don't have kids so no experience with playgroups or nurseries, but good luck and please don't quite now! You will get some nice pocket money. For example, last campaign I made £175 commission, so I took my husband out for a meal, and bought myself some much needed jumpers and a new top for Valentines Day.
